Kieslowski's Three Colors Trilogy is there for under $18.

You just need to put all the colors in your cart individually. Blue-White-Red

I highly recommend Rhyme and Reason. Great hip-hop documentary with a bangin' soundtrack. Not as classy as Scratch, but a good watch and well worth your $6.

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Avalon.

A Mamoru Oshii (the Ghost in the Shell director) film. It's an extremely niche title, which is probably why it's on the list, requiring some understanding of MMORPGs to fully appreciate it. Sadly, though, the R1 version of Avalon is awful. For some reason they decided to dub it in English, adding horrible voiceovers to placate the American masses where there is silence in the original.

Unfortunately, the genius in charge of subtitles went ahead and just transcribed the dub down to subtitles, leaving the viewer going "what the hell, I don't hear anything" when watching the native audio track w/ subtitles.

Still, very highly recommended. After a long wait for the fans, it finally hit R1 last year.

I didn't see it mentioned, so I'll mention it.

Fresh is a pretty good movie, not the generic gang movie you might expect, especially if you like chess.

Great deal, already had most of the titles that interested me but I'd been meaning to pick up the Disney Classic Cartoons for some time now, $56 for all 9 volumes was a hell of a good deal

Flirting with Disaster - well worth it

I don't have Classic Cartoon Favorites vol 8, but at about $6 a pop I'm thinking about picking up a few of those Classic Cartoon Favorites volumes myself.

I'm going with

Red
White
Blue
Heavenly Creatures
25th Hour
In the Bedroom

I was thinking of replacing my Mighty Aprhodite LD with the DVD but I don't watch it often enough and the LD is pretty good quality.

Dead Man is also great but I already own it.

I'm glad DDD has had some of these mini sales to tide us over until "the sale we shall not speak of" appears again.

Thanks, I looked under D and L but must have kept skimming past it under "Jackie Chan".

My order placed on the 10th arrived this afternoon. IRON MONKEY, LEGEND OF DRUNKEN MASTER, & COP LAND all arrived. However, LOST SEASON 1 is apparently backordered and won't ship for another week.

If this sale is still going sometime later I might put in an order for the BLUE, WHITE, & RED trilogy I keep hearing about. It would be a blind buy, and I'm not sure what to expect.

Don't want the thread to get off topic, but is it worth getting the R1 release of Iron Monkey?
