I thought this was true too, South Park season 3 online was 44.99 and in store was 40.99, didnt see the price sticker til I was at home. Good advice would be to check the in store price before going to pick up, the computer won't adjust for the difference.

Of the 250 that I have mailed, I have gotten 34 back in the last 2 days. There are 12 $3 and 22 $1 Best Buy bucks. I have gotten a lot more 'food' prizes than the odds would suggest a total of 16 so far, 7 medium fries, 5 breakfast sandwich, 1 breakfast medium extra value meal, 2 small soft drinks and 1 burger sandwich. Also the food prizes have online codes on them as well, so probably worth entering them online before you redeem them.

Yeah, I had Park Place. I could have sworn it was Boardwalk. Either way, I haven't won shit.
Oh wait - I won a useless prize online - a stupid free ringtones. Whooooptee-dooo.

Redemption questions ....
1) $300/day/customer limit for in-store redemptions. I wonder if my wife and I could go in to the store together and redeem $600 on a single item.
2) Limit 40 promotional codes/order for on-line redemptions. So this means a limit of $120/order in Best Buy Bucks, right? (40 x $3 = $120).
We've been planning on buying a new digital camera. This seems like the best way to do it!

Could someone confirm/clarify this for me:
1) Can use more than $3 BB bucks on CDs/DVDs online when choosing in-store pickup
2) Can "re-use" BB bucks in store after having used them online

2) I did this three times early last week and nothing bad has come of it (it worked every time I tried it thusfar). This might depend on store policies, however. This also worked last year, but note that they could easily figure out if you used them twice if they cared to look. However, I think most B&M stores just throw them away after use.

Just as an FYI, I tried to use my BB Bucks yesterday on Arrested Development S2.
They didn't work. First I asked the cashier if I could use more than $3, she checked and was told no (I figured since the language states only $3 on SINGLE DVDs or CDs that someone could get around it with a boxset).
But more importantly, I used my Reward Zone card to discount the title to $24.99. Apparently, the Reward Zone discount is designed to SET the price of the item to $24.99, because once that was entered, no scanning of the BB Bucks would function.
She even tried scanning the Best Buy bucks, then the Reward Zone. The BB Bucks worked and brought it to $26.99, but the Reward Zone dropped the price to $24.99 again.

I believe that you will only get credit for the actual cash outlay...so if you buy a $20 dvd with $20 in best buy bucks, you would get no RZ credit. If you used $3 in best buy bucks, you would get $17 in RZ credit. I think it works the same way on in-store purchases as well. In other words, you can't double dip.

I even called Best Buy corporate customer service to complain, but they wouldn't budge on "policy".

I got 28 more envelopes back today, so I now have received 62 out of 250. I really scored on the Best Buy bucks, 12 of the $3 and $16 of the $1, woohoo 43% were $3. 5 of the food prizes, 2 medium fries, 2 small soft drinks, and 1 breakfast sandwich.
Cumulative totals: 24 of the $3, 38 of the $1, 39%
Food prizes 21/62,34%

this question might be a tad left of center, but i figure it might help others as well.
i want to send in a few of the SASE requests, and to cut shipping costs i'm using a pitney bowes machine at an office. the catch is that the postage on each envelope is date stamped, and i already know from trying to mail something at the post office that if the date is expired, so is the postage.
so for the actual SASE, how can i rectify that?
if i change the date to read something, say, a month into the future, will that work? or will the mail get junked because it is not the correct day?
i don't want to have to buy stamps for the SASE's if i can help it...

if you insist on still doing it just putzero's or dashes in place of the numbers for the date.

Has anybody had trouble using the BB Bucks online, then instore?
And my percentage is running pretty close to the 2 to 1 average of $1 vs. $3.
20 x $1
12 x $3
plus a bunch of food prizes, those have really picked up lately.
