Wow, this is ridiculous. I don't have access to a Target right now, but with those prices, I just sent my grandma out to her local Target to check for me. It may be a waste of her time, but if it pays off, wow.

Just got back from the one in Centerville, Ohio. Most of the ones listed in this thread that they had scanned at $5.99, except the Looney Toons. Those scanned at regular price.
Thanks for the info MBradley

I just just got two copies of Band of Brothers in Mission Viejo. I went back to get the rest and the lady who had been at my register was taking them off the shelves. So if you're reading this now you should go check yours.

No go after trying a miscellaneous assortment of the ones OP and others had. Half a gallon of gas down the tubes. Rochester NY (Victor store). I tried the scanner - if the register WOULD have rung them up I will croak....

No go at the Van Nuys (Sepulveda/Burbank) store. I must have checked every TV set in the store: Little House, Northern Exp., Gilmore, Band of Bro., Looney Tunes, etc. No go on any title.
If anyone is near the Burbank store (Victory Pl/Empire rd) they might want to check again. when I went earlier I only scanned Looney Tunes.

I think the prices at one Target may be different than other Targets; it is not like Best Buy or Circuit City. When items go on seasonal clearance, different Targets can have different clearance prices (some 50% off, some 75% off).
I went to one Target in northern CA, all the stuff listed was 5.99. I went to another Target less than a mile away, and everything was ringing up regular price.

Wasn't some of the Targets putting their DVD's on clearance for remodeling of the electronics department?

CrashNburn I went to the one on 290 and Spring cypress which had the ones i mentioned for 5.99 and the one on 529 and Hwy 6 which had none for 5.99. If anyone could get me band of brothers or the o.c in exchange for looney tunes vol. or the Batman series Vol 3 it would be much appreciated.
