No luck in Allen, TX on OC, Gilmore Girls, Sex & the City, or Friends. I'll probably check the next nearest Target tomorrow morning. Thanks anyway OP.

I was able to get Jaws and Buffy Season 7. Looney Tunes, Band of Brothers, 24, Alias all were full price. I didn't see any other sets of buffy or any of Angel to check.

im so damn pissed. sharpstown target had the oc, friends, gilmore gilrs, er, one tree hill, and lots of others for 5.99. so i got like 3 or 4 and as i was getting in line the lady told me "i can tell you right now those are 6 bux. theyre regular price". she said their systems messed up. out of all the dumb people ive seen working there, i had to get the one that knew what she was talking about. so i walked out with nothing. went staright to galleria. nothing. shot over to reliant target. nothing. isnt there some law that they have to sell it to you for what it scans. i'll go try again tomorrow morning. hopefully the error hasnt been corrected and i can get a cashier that doesnt know whats going on.

Lame. I would say that's false advertising or something. Idunno. That really sucks! If you are able to score anything at that Target, could you please try (maybe on a second run since I doubt you'll be trying to pick up EXTRA copies the first time around) to grab me One Tree Hill or Gilmore Girls Season 3 or something? I live in the area (but in Pearland), so if that would be possible let me know. I'm not going to push my luck, though. Anyway, e-mail addy is [email protected].

Target here in central IL was crazy. I went in expecting nothing and walked out with half the store. There was a lot more that I didn't get that I can't remember. I was there about 7pm for the first round then brought my brothers back around 8-9 and together we went through a bunch of titles. I know we scanned a lot more at that price, but I was getting overwhelmed. I spent over $300. My brothers spend quite a bit too. I was sure someone at the register would stop me from buying 30 sets at one shot for such a low price, but nobody questioned it at all. I found Mary Poppins at the end but didn't want to start going through evry disc in the store. My brother said Pocahontas was $5.99 as well.

Thats what I don't get. How do these people who ring the stuff up not realize something is wrong? Common sense? They scan plenty of dvds every day, now they are scanning box sets and ringing them up at $5.99 and nobody blinks?

If I had bigger balls I would have done what you did but instead just took a few sets and prayed they went through. I also went to a checkout lady that looked like she was counting the seconds until her shift ended.

Well they were super busy when I was there with only a few lanes open and a manager standing at the end of the register aisles giving everyone the evil eye, so they were pushing people through pretty fast. No one even looked at the display to see what the price was.

No go in NW Tucson. There were no Looney Tunes on the shelves and several seasons of sex and the city were not shelved. I scanned BOB, Friends, and a couple of the sex and city that were on the shelves and all were regular price.

I went at 4 pm, btw.
