I already have all the Miyazaki movies, but I'm sure other people could use the information.

Anyone spot any B&M specials for the Warner Film Noir Classics Collection #2 coming out on 7/5?
For what it's worth, I also wouldn't buy the UMDs. But I can tell you that it's not worth much coming from me given that I still haven't double dipped up to DVD from some of my VHS tapes.

I returned on Monday, the CSR had to ask a manager first and he gave the ok and price matched them all.

Buying on Friday and PM'ing on Sunday or Monday is a good idea for most people, except it won't work for me for 2 reasons:
(1) I'll be gone those days (it is in fact a holiday weekend) so I won't be near a Circuit City. I think there is a Walmart near where I'm going, but I seriously doubt Walmart will have the titles I want. Whenever any store has a sale with a narrow time window, I usually pass because I can't bend my life around their narrow time windows (i.e. I miss all those Sears and Comp USA half-day sales for this reason). Tuesday is usually the day I make my "rounds", so if the sale isn't active on Tuesday it's generally worthless to me.
(2) Even if I weren't going to be gone, Circuit City is a 10 mile round trip, and I don't think it's worth fighting the crowds and wasting gas for about 6 marginal $4.99 titles on a holiday weekend. A few of the DVDs were cheaper at DDD's recent 20% off sale, so I might just wait for the next sale.
I have to remember to keep saying to myself: Must control self. They're only DVDs. If I don't get them, life will go on (I've already got too many others to watch). But doing the pre-buy and PM is a good idea for those who'll be around. I guess what I dislike about this sale is it doesn't last a whole week.

I have the CC ad in hand and they show the new $30 Das Boot DVD (the 5 hour mini-series) in the ad for $9.99. I'm sure they meant to show the regular $15 version. I already have the Superbit, but someone might want to try and see if they honor this (or PM it)!

Also in the Best Buy ad this week they're offering the Reward Zone membership for 25% off ($7.50). Only $2.50 off, but it might be a good time for those of us planning on renewing. Last year they sent a coupon at the last minute where if you renewed you'd get 2 $5.00 certificates...but since I'm a "devil" now I don't think I'll get that this year.
