Thanks, I might make a trip down there. Did they have the $14.44 TV first season displays?

Anybody know if there's any on Long Island doing this? I checked the Wal-Mart in the Sunrise Mall, but no dice. Did pickup the Sneakers Collectors Edition in the 5.50 bin though.

Yup, they had those too.

We went out shopping today and ended up in Pleasanton store and they had the same 4.88's but also had Evolution there as well. Picked that up today.

Took a ride to the Walmart in East Meadow and they had the 4.88 display right as you walk in. Picked up Beverly Hills Cop 1,2, & 3, along with Clue and Young Sherlock Holmes.

The display didn't even look to be touched, every movie listed was there.

There were a load of them along with the 4.88 ones in the 5.50 bin. From what I remember there was...

Firefox
Sudden Impact
The Enforcer
Pale Rider
The Outlaw Josey Wales
Where Eagles Dare
Magnum Force
Absolute Power
Every Which Way But Loose

I think I might go back tomorrow and pick a few up. Digging through those bins is a pain in the ass though.

wm lopez and Star Wars Guy, where are you guys from?

Both stores in Springfield have them, and tons of them. The Supercenter has them up front by the grocery side entry. The regular Wally has them back by the electronics section.

Try this link (the 4.88 link from the main movies page, down the left side of the page)

hmmm. It does look as if not all of these are 4.88 anymore. Maybe it's a temporary glitch?

Went to our local Walmart here in Northern VA and I got Enemy at The Gates and Sabrina for $4.88 . There are lots of other titles but unfortunately, I don't remember any of them (oh, I remember at least one and I think it's something like Rugrats Adventure)...

Just wanted to post that the local Wal-Mart by me -- the one in Santa Clarita, CA -- has a sizeable $4.88 bin, as well. Most of the titles mentioned in this thread was in it. Just picked up Night at the Roxbury for now. May go back to pick up a couple more later on.

Don't know where you are from, wm lopez, but they have em in MANY Central Illinois stores; namely Peoria (The old one on University), East Peoria, Morton, and Bloomington.

Around us, there is surely no shortage of 'em.

At the Skokie Wal-Mart they still have many of the titles listed in this thread. I picked up Love Story, Primal Fear, What's Eating Gilbert Grape, and Beverly Hills Cop on Sunday.

(By the way, Beverly Hills Cop sure has dated since I last saw it in the early 90s.)
