Not much of a sale if you cant place an order.
I had this happen yesterday but the orders were still going through regardless of the error message. But I thought they were not going through and later found out I had multiple orders for the same item. Had to call customer service to cancel the extra orders. You might want to check with customer service first before trying to place another order.

Ernestrp, sorry for the errors that you're receiving. We're looking into what may be causing them. And your point is well taken...our new site is on the way

Thanks again for all of your support. Enjoy!

Can you add the new Essential Steve McQueen Collection box set to the sale? Very interested in pre-ordering if it is included in the current sale. Thanks!

Any chance "World War II Collection - European Warfare (The Battle of the Bulge / Battleground / The Big Red One Special Edition / The Dirty Dozen / Where Eagles Dare)" could be added?

It's a WB set due out 5/3/2005.

I'm going to place an order for Ultimate Oliver Stone, Contoversial Classics and a couple other sets, but was hoping I could order them all at once.

Thanks!

At $62.24 , The Doris Day set is cheaper at Amazon. Oh well I bought 4 of the other box sets. No complaints here.

DDD price has now dropped to $62.14 so DDD now has the best price.

How about Bette Davis, Joan Crawford, or the Film Noir #2? Are those up anywhere yet?

both the Bette Davis and Joan Crawford are available for pre-order and are $37.44 (instead of Z$49.95---not much of a discount). The Film Noir COllection 2 doesn't appear to be listed on the site (including for pre-order). Hopefully it'll be added to the site and the sale. I'd definately get that one as well.

It appears the Elvis Presley Signature Collection is not part of the sale even though there is a picture of the box on top of the sale page. It is even shown on the email I received advertising the sale from DDD. Might want to add it to the list. I see it has now been added.

Highly recommend the Tarzan collection (great fun!!) and the Film Noir collection (five classic, gritty movies featuring moody photography, inspired dialogue, and tough-as-nails characters...not a wasted flick in the bunch).

Thanks to the OP (and DDD, of course.) I just cancelled my preorder of Controversial Classics at another etailer and reordered it from DDD...a nice savings of ~$10.

Holy lord. I just told myself this past week that I was going to be taking it easy with the purchases, since this summer is going to be killer. But these prices are simply amazing. Just when my backlog was dying down.

Not much I wanted to order from this sale since I already own 13 of the box sets available, but ended up pre-ordering the Controversial Collection and the John Wayne Legendary Heroes Collection. Still hoping DDD adds the Steve McQueen Collection to the current list.

I cancelled 2 pre-orders at another etailer that I made last week or so and picked up 2 more sets that I had decided to pass on.

I was looking at the Warner Classic Comedies Boxset, which is now listed at $48.19. This price beats Barnes & Noble by 9 cents and Amazon by 10 cents. Anyone know what they were charging for this set before the discount? I was thinking that the discounted price would distance themselves a bit more from other sites, but apparently not with this title.
