I went to two best buys with the print out of the criterion, but neither had it. Oh well....it's probably a blessing. I can't imagine the mind-numbing frustration that I would have had to have dealt with speaking to customer service.

All my stuff shipped, but the preorders and Amistad. The website shows the dreaded sold out in blue for most of the titles everybody ordered, even the preorders. My guess is the titles won't be in stock for the rest of the week.

However, with my second order, I still haven't gotten any e-mails from the stores confirming in-store pickup.

The quickest way for them to stop ppl from ordering those items any more was to mark each of the items not intended for the sale as being sold out.

Deal appears to be officially DEAD....Best Buy has fixed the link and now only the correct versions show on the sale page.....when doing a manual search for all the titles that we've been ordering, EVERY one of them is now showing Sold Out.

Just received an email from Best Buy saying my order for Traffic & Hoosiers has been cancelled. Other DVDs supposedly have been shipped & I picked up a few in store. Called CSR & she couldn't figure out what happend. My first order for Traffic & Hoosiers is still pending though.
I hope the rest of the orders show up in the mail.

On the first order I placed for 4 titles, Rudy (set w/CD); Knight's Tale Superbit; and the Showgirls box set are showing as shipped today, with tracking numbers. Traffic is still showing "in process; usually ships in 0-1 days."
The second order, for the new editions of Hoosiers and Stand By Me, is still showing up as pre-orders for those titles.
I have received no e-mails on any of these since the initial order confirmations.

Place my order for in-store pick up last night for Showgirls and Monster's Ball (Unrated Signature Series version). Got email this morning for pick up. Printed it out, then got a 2nd email saying that Showgirls was not available for pick up after all...
Went to the store anyway, found one boxset on the shelf, took it to customer service and tried to complete the pickup. The argued that since the computer said they didn't have one, it must be true, ignoring the fact that I had one in my hand. I held my position, and the finally agreed to sell it to me for the $7.50 price.
Any time I've chosen in-store pick up for an on-line sale at Best Buy, there has always been a catch. They say they don't have one, but really do, or say they have one, but find that they actually don't. It must be great to have a business that is so profitable that accurate inventory doesn't really matter...
