I am very surprised and impressed that BB offered the $5 coupon. I can't believe all the idiots going off with their silly rants about honoring price mistakes. Longtime members like me have had to deal with this everytime there is a price error at a site that we knowingly take advantage of that gets canceled. Page after page of indignant people threatening class action lawsuits. Let's see, each Traffic CC costs BB over $25, and lets say there were 10,000 orders for it at the misprice. So, we expect BB to take a $200,000 (almost quarter million dollar) loss and we're gonna be pissy if they don't just give away all that free money? Get real. Obviously those whiners have never owned a business. Try explaining giving away that kind of money to your board of directors or investors. Not gonna happen... or you won't have your job for too long.

I know it was mentioned earlier about large authorizations at 150% of the correct amount. But was anyone else UNDER charged??? Today I picked up Ali DC, and my receipt says I was charged $4.50 + tax. I then checked my charge card, and sure enough I was only charged $4.78 total. I didn't use any coupons or gift cards. Did this happen to anyone else?

I am very surprised about how much love and understanding has been shown towards BestBuy.com in this thread. I don't get it! I know they have a clause about price errors but what website does not. Just because they have a clause does that let them off the hook every time they make a mistake. What about our rights as consumers. I feel like I had a contract with Bestbuy for the DVDs I ordered, especially if Bestbuy.com charge my Credit card before they caught their mistake and cancelled my order. The question is: Is it worth my time to cause an uproar over 3 dvds? NO, so I will let them off the hook this time.

However if the five dvds I get in the mail from Bestbuy are not exactly the ones I ordered then I am going to ask for a full refunded including shipping charges. If they do not agree to that then I will dispute the charge with my credit card company and file a complaint with the BBB.

I hope everyone here will at least fire off an email to Bestbuy.com explaining how disappointed we are with them. Bestbuy.com's mistake is their fault, not ours. They are the ones trying to make a profit off of our purchases. Let Bestbuy know how you feel! OK, I am off my soapbox now, peace out!
For some reason, I don't think Best Buy would cry over losing you as a customer.

But I'm sure you'll jump on their next price mistake or good deal.

Email their customer support and they'll reply with the coupon. Their customer support probably doesn't like me very much right now, I'm making them earn their salary.

Thanks for the WaH reminder...would like to hear what others are getting with their $5 coupons before I use mine. Any other good deals on DVDs not available from DVD clubs, etc.? Please post 'em if you find 'em!

AMEN Pilot!!!

Geez, the whining around here gets unbearable sometimes.

Try reversing the situation. Lets say a friend asks for change for a twenty. You give him 2 10's and 2 5's by accident. You catch the mistake and try to "cancel" the deal, and take back one of the 10's. Do you *really* think he has a "right" to keep your $30 because you made a "price mistake" on the $20 bill?

Some people need to spend more time *earning* a buck to spend instead of trying to rip off other people on their errors.

No digital coupon.
No Traffic CC
Yes Showgirls.

I think I overpaid for Showgirls now that I didn't get the Traffic CC. Oh well.

Tomorrow I'll do the in-store pick-up on Ali Director's Cut at a different store on my way home from work(both titles weren't available at the same store). The third thing was Traffic CC,which is on backorder,I am awaiting shipment. Hope I get it.
Some people are so ungrateful. I'm happy that I got both of my in-store pick-ups and I even got the $5 coupon mailed to me for the cancellation on Traffic CC. Best Buy is far from a place I like to shop, but they did right by this misprice. They handled it very nicely I think. Good for them.

I didn't get the coupon, but I'm still hoping to get one. However, I would agree--this is the time of action that provides a good solution to handling misprices. And I don't like Best Buy either, not even a little bit.

For those who haven't got their coupon yet, I just got mine now and I got my cancellation early yesterday morning, so just be patient with it, it will come.

Just got my coupon! Anyone have any suggestions on what to use it on? Let's all try and find some decent deals on DVD's using the coupon and post them here.

Am I the only one who finds the posts with people arguing back and forth about Best Buy amusing? I mean, get over it.

My Tracffic:CC just arrived in my mailbox. I was worried they would ship the standard version, but kudos to Best Buy for at least honoring the error for those of us who got in on the pricing error early.

cool

Got the coupon. Bought Young Guns II at 5.99.

After tax/shipping it was 2.29. Could have done store pickup, but I didn't think it was worth it to save 1.25.

Although I didn't receive a cancellation email, my order status now shows Stand By Me as cancelled. I already had Hoosiers cancelled from this same order (and had received the cancel email for that one yesterday). No explanation email with the $5 certificate as of yet...
