Haven't seen these, but they've had some Christmas titles for the past few weeks including Santa Claus Conquers The Martians, and a weird movie from Mexico in 1959 just titled Santa Claus, which loses a bit since it was originally in Spanish but dubbed in English, but it's about the devil trying to stop Santa.

family value collection is the only company name on the cover...no phone number or address. These have no shrink wrap and just have a tiny sticker keeping the case shut together...the new double features come in the slim line plastic case (King of the Hill, Ren and stimpy type) Picture quality is the same as any other PD film

I had seen the Xmas movies also....in cardboard sleeves, still for a buck not a bad deal...beyond tommorow is a pretty cool movie to check out of the Xmas box

That's a GREAT movie. I watch it every year!

MST3K did that one, but it's great by itself too... $1 is a steal! (I paid $2 for my DVD copy...)

That sucks. My local Dollar Tree has Suddenly, but it's not a double feature.

I went to Dollar Tree yesterday and bought 13 DVDs. They had that Suddenly/Man With Golden Arm set, but I picked up the Sonny Chiba 2-movie DVD: Legend Of 8 Samurai/Street Fighter. Street Fighter was very good. Uncut, and in widescreen.

The comany on the back of the cover is Family Value Collection, but on the DVD it said "©2003 Treasure Box". These DVDs must be made by Treasure Box Collection. The artwork for the Suddenly/Man With Golden Arm DVD's cover is the same as Treasure Box Collection's release of Suddenly.

Big Lots current ad also has pics of these, don't know if they are the same but here are the details from the ad.

Double Feature DVDs $1 Each.

They show 3 different DVDs, which I will try to describe from the ad.

The words DVD are in the upper left corner. "Double Feature" is in either green or red and in the upper half of the cover and in back is a gold color. Below this are two pics of the films/ TV Shows on the DVD. Below that is words that are too small to read.

I haven't been able to go to Big Lots yet to check these out, but will asap.

Hmmm, this may be regional. My local Big Lots ad doesn't have any DVDs pictured -- truthfully, I didn't even know they carried DVDs.

As for Dollar Tree, there are no locations in NY (yet?). I guess I can check if Target's "Dollar Store" section gets any of these...

I went to Dollar Tree today. They just mostly had a bunch of DVDs with episodes of old TV shows and a few old Cartoons. They only had like two movies, and wasn't anything I would want. No Sonny Chiba

I have a Big Lots in town too, maybe I'll check there tomorrow.

I stopped by Big Lots yesterday and saw these. The 2 that caught my eye were a Vincent Price double feature with House on Haunted Hill & Last Man on Earth and they had a double feature with that turtle looking creature from the Godzilla movies.

No double features at mine, no Sonny Chiba, and the only DVDs with real cases were lame cartoons. Everything else was still in the old cardboard cases.

However, I did pick up a few (all Treasure Box Collection DVDs):

- Death Rage (Yul Brynner)
- Kill Cruise (Elizabeth Hurley)
- Agency (Robert Mitchum, Lee Majors)
