Wow...anyone want to do an STL on the Margaret Cho boxset? I can't help but think that that's an error. And to knock it down another $.90 is just icing.

I already added myself to the STL listing for it. Anyone else?

Edit: I also placed my order to discover that it didn't offer me to STL. And I ordered mine with Return of the King.

P.S. - If you are lucky enough to still get A9, go for it. I can't get my to work again.

Great price for Margaret Cho - The Collection! Revolution alone costs the same price and the Collection contains all 3 films.

Same thing with Broadway & Hollywood: The Songwriters (Box Set)!

BTW - There is no STL option for these titles.

THANKS OP!

Thanks, I ordered Wire In the Blood and The Margret Cho Set. Amazon didn't display an option for stl though. wonder if it is because of the already deep discount?

Cool, Thanks for the post. I ordered Dinner for Five, Margaret Cho, and Traffik. My order did offer STL but I didn't see any requests in the forum, or on the STL pages. Maybe someone else can get it to work.

Same here (except I already had Traffik). I guess I should've looked here first, but then, if we were all worried about another $1--that's just greedy!

But STL is working for these titles.

I was tempted to order Traffik, having heard so much about it, but I read that some of the foreign language dialogue is dubbed on the US release. Maybe I'll look into getting it from another region.

I ordered three:

-Dinner For Five: Season 1
-Margaret Cho Collection
-Wire in the Blood: The Complete First Season

I couldn't use STL for each three and still get free shipping though. It ended up being about 70 cents short or something like that, maybe even less. So I got STL on two, and the other I just bought at the full sale price.

I should mention the trick I did to get free shipping. Since most of these titles are $8.09 with STL, ordering 3 will just miss getting free shipping (by 73 cents!). So I deleted one item from my cart and re-added it manually (without the STL discount). So I paid 90 cents more for one, but I got free shipping. So if you only want 3 titles, there ya go!

I had the STL option, but did anyone get the 1.57% discount? I tried using that that search function over and over, but never got the A2 discount to appear...

Actually, the joke's on you, because free shipping applies to any order that is $25 or above BEFORE discounts. I know it says on the screen that you need to add more, but you don't. Try it and see.

Nothing personal, of course. I just really wanted to use the expression "the joke's on you." Hope this information is helpful for everyone for the future.

You should give Amazon filler a try: http://www.filleritem.com/ . It'll be more than $.03 but the shipping savings will make up for it.

Thanks for the info. I can't believe I let them fool me... Not only did I get ripped of 90 cents, but I could have had some cough drops for only 9 cents more according to that filleritem site listed above! Damn, I won't sleep well tonight...

Why are the Jospeh Campbells so cheap? I look at Joseph Campbell - Mythos and it was marked down over 90.00. Is it a price mistake or justsomething that no one was buying?

I already own the Campbells, paid like $50 each over a year ago, but at these prices I just had to get a second set as a gift. They are great titles, especially for star wars fans.

But, there is something weird about these prices across the board anyway. Given its history, don't be surprised if Amazon lets it run for a couple of days and then comes back with "Oops, sorry, we made a boo-boo and now you have to pay the full price if you really want it."

Hey, thanks for pointing this sale out!! I'm sure it helped to generate the STL-fest that I received today. I was finally able to pick up Duel and Russian Ark, with a couple of blind buys to boot!!

I don't know what is up at Amazon, but I'm loving it. I ordered the two CYE sets and Da Ali G Show last week, and I got all of that yesterday. It took right at a week for my order to go through, for them to pack it, for them to ship it, and for it to get to me.

Well, now they've done it again. I placed two orders with them last night, LAST NIGHT. The following has already shipped:

1 of: Dinner for Five - Season 1
1 of: Margaret Cho Collection (I'm the One That I Want / Notorious C.H.O. / Revolution)
1 of: Wire in the Blood - The Complete First Season (The Mermaids Singing / Shadows Rising / Justice Painted Blind)

And the following is listed as "shipping soon":

1 of: Joseph Campbell - Mythos
1 of: Traffik - Miniseries
1 of: Joseph Campbell and the Power of Myth
1 of: Broadway & Hollywood Legends - The Songwriters Collection (Kander & Ebb / Alan Jay Lerner / E.Y. "Yip" Harburg / Sheldon Harnick / Burton Lane / Mitch

Once again, two huge thumbs up to Amazon so far. After countless subpar/horrible experiences with them, they are finally coming through for me.

I've also noticed that they are sending these items (at least the order that has indeed shipped already) to me via UPS instead of USPS as they have done for all of my past orders.

place the STL requests in this thread: http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthread.php?t=399686 ...as usual they *WILL* be deleted from this thread, as any future threads like this instead of being in the STL forum where they belong.

I picked up Broadway & Hollywood Legends - I did not get the A9 1.57% discount. I had been getting it the last couple months. I wonder if that discount is now dead.
