There's obviously a problem with their inventory system regarding this title. To see if it's actually in stock, who wants to volunteer to try buying (and returning) Mythos at full price?

I got the same e-mail a couple days ago. I called to inquire about why it's still listed on the site if it's completely unavailable, and was told about 14 different lies by the CSR before I finally gave up. Oh well... :(

I just tried to call Amazon.com customer service number 800-201-7575 and I couldn't find a way to get off the automated computer menu and talk to a person. Is there another number to call to talk to a live person?
Also, what is the best way to get 'apology' gift certificates? Some people on this thread say they were offered gift certificates from $5 to $20 because of the 'Mythos' problems, and I have never been offered any. |

I got the email for Mythos today too. But I did have two orders, and only one was cancelled. I wonder when they'll cancel the other one?

I received a cancellation e-mail too. I wish Amazon would just admit they had a pricing error instead of giving me the runaround and blaming system errors and their supplier not having anymore copies.

I never received an email cancelling this Mythos and now when i log onto amazon - Mythos is no longer listed in my order history

about 2 weeks ago they finally cancelled all remaining orders and now the title cannot even be ordered at all:
