Hope I got a decent deal. I chose to pre order the Gone With the Wind 4 disc set. Final price was $21.98 but then I should get another 7% off the original price because I used my discover card.

battle of algiers
awesome deal for battle of algiers, it costs about $25 shipped after the coupon, too bad i already ordered it from somewhere else. i ended up getting eyes without a face and some cheapo books to put me over $25, so $15 for this and some cheap books isn't bad at all, thanks.

The DiscoverCard Cashback deal, just so folks understand how it works, is a bonus that shows up on your next month's DiscoverCard statement — and is calculated off of the price before discounts.
And yes, you do need to have a DiscoverCard to get the 7% Cashback bonus but you don't need one to get the $10 discount.
I just showed you my order so you could see the maximum in stacked discounts you can grab with this one code. I lucked out on my hardcover title because it just happened to be $25 exactly (first collection of S. Maugham's short stories in print in years, a beefy 832 pages woof) and in this particular case, I'm glad B&N didn't discount it because I'm on B&N restriction until January 2005 LOL.
I buy, er, a lot of books heh, so being a B&N Member costs out for me. It's $25 annually, in case you didn't know (roughly $2 a month).
Christmas just a little bit early, eh friends? You're so very welcome!

You know, even with the discount, they have some terrible prices. I price-searched over 400 Buena Vista films, hoping for deals...
I bought ROTK for $17.98 on another account.

That's the problem I had. I looked at several titles that are my wish list and even with the $10 off (or getting 2 to trigger free shipping), DDD had them beat.
