OK, my list changed, luckily my online order for the looney tunes 2 didn't go through. So I'm gonna order it through DDD's sale (whenever i can get through the checkout)
All told from the BBV trade in sale i ended up with:
Star Wars Trilogy
Aladdin Gift Set
Family Guy S3
Tom and Jerry Collection
Looney Tunes V1
Aqua Teen Hunger FOrce V3
Space Ghost V1
Space Ghost V2
leaving me with enough left over to pick up Elf tomorrow....
Good lord, Seinfeld next week and Matrix in 2 weeks, and ROTK:EE in a month, and whatever else is a good deal before X-mas!

Finished my first month of in-store unlimited rentals.
Made friends with every person on the night crew and ran out of movies I wanted to see. -$16
Bought 2 xbox S-Controllers -$65
Gave 2 $25 GC's away as b-day presents so far.
Got 6 more of them and finished a huge chunk of Christmas shopping. -$200 (+$20 bonus)
Bought 2 Sony wraparound ear phones -$22
Spent so far: $283.
Left: ~$320

Does anybody know if there's a cheap pre-order price for Seinfeld?
I know Blockbuster has had ridiculously low pre-order prices for SCTV volumes, and other stuff, in the past. So, I was wondering if it was the same case with both Seinfeld volumes.
I'd definitely use my credit on that if it's pretty cheap.

Even when it's credit, and I got more in credit than I spent on the DVDs in the first place, it's hard for me to buy stuff at BB when I could get it cheaper somewhere else.
I sucked it up today and spent some of my credit on a couple of blind buys
Iron Giant SE (Relatively overpriced at 16.99) and
Zatoichi The Blind Swordsman/Sonatine (not too bad a price)
Prior trips I bought Eternal Sunshine and a Grand Theft Auto: Vice City cheat book.
About $85 to go.

I had planned on picking up recent releases with the 3 for $25 sales (one of which starts tomorrow), but I have been picking up so many TV seasons in the 2 for $20 (with a recent release to complete the sale) that I don't have much to buy.
Another good find tonight:
Andromeda Season 1
Mean Girls
2 for $20.
Also found a Memento LE at another store - the woman was nice enough to tell me about the 3 for $25 (had slipped my mind) and put it aside for me.
Also picked up a couple decent trades for $6.99:
Jumanji CE
Full Metal Jacket (remastered)

Spent $306.61 online (total includes $10.29 shipping(!) and $19.39 in tax), picked up a few games: Pikmin 2, Amazing Island, Gradius V, Urbz, along with some DVDs: Looney Tunes Golden 2, Dr. Strangelove 40th, and Tom & Jerry Spotlight. Still have close to $400 left to spend, but this was a good start.

Went to Blockbuster tonight to use up some of my credit and got:
Back to the Future Trilogy - WS
Blade 2 Platinum Series (2 Discs) - WS
Hidalgo - WS
All for $25 plus tax! Back to the Future Trilogy was marked $29.99 but I was told that it was included in 3 for $25 deal!

I have a little bit of credit left.
Since Best Buy doesn't have an exclusive bonus disk and BBV's low price ($15.99), I will pickup Harry Potter:POA tomorrow at BBV.

Man Blockbuster sucks on 99% of their prices. I was going to use some of my credit on Harry Potter tomorrow but not anymore. Good Guys has it for $12.99 and all my Blockbusters want $21.99. Good thing in California the gift cards never expire, I'll just have to be patient and wait for a missprice like the Looney Tunes deal.

Well, for the last few months I've been building my home theater and decided not to buy any DVD's during this process so I haven't kept up. I totally missed the $8 deal because of this. After reading this thread last night, however, I went to blockbuster today and made the following transaction:
Traded in:
Hulk (received $6.50 - paid $2 for it originally)
Remember the Titans (received $5 - paid $7.50 originally)
Matrix (received $5 - paid $7.50 originally)
Blair Witch (received $5 - received it free originally through promotion)
Total : received $21.50 credit on my account for DVD's I originally purchased for $17 (and since I'm getting the Matrix compilation, I really had no need for the Matrix).
I had a coupon for 2 previously viewed for $15 and picked up these:
Van Helsing
Brazil Criterion Collection (perfect condition - someone must have traded it in).
And I still have $6.50 left on my account.
Not bad. I guess I shouldn't stay away so long next time.

LOL. Watched VH tonight for the first time and I actually liked it (mostly the sound and effects though - all adventure flicks are good in a dedicated HT). When I saw Brazil on the shelf, I snatched it right up, but then it took me almost another hour to find a second disc. It was truly the one pearl amongst a bunch of other crap.

Finally, after weeks of going to numerous Blockbusters, I was able to find a few things this week.
Picked up Simpsons Season 2, Master and Commander, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Two days later I went to a different Blockbuster while I was in the burbs, and picked up Hunt for Red October, North By Northwest, and Vertigo. Both Hitchcock movies were in PERFECT condition. And of course both deals were the 3 for $25. Just shows if you keep looking, you'll eventually find something in between the 200 copies of junk.

I guess Gilliam is an acquired taste, because I found a Fear and Loathing CC that was traded in.

LOL.
I did not trade it in. However, I don't like the film enough to own it, but picked it up because of it's value mainly. I haven't figured out the best way to get rid of it yet, but I will eventually.

Give it to me.
That's the best way to get rid of it.
