Where did you "SEE" the bilingual cover? There is no link here that shows a picture. At this point, the assumption (or consensus) is that it will be a bilingual cover. ... but we have NO confirmation of that hypothesis yet.

The fact that there is the slightest possibility of it is enough for me, especially after reading the posts that this company charges you upon ordering, not upon shipment, and will only give you store credit if you cancel your order, which in some cases has disappeared. No thank you.

Until we get confirmation that there IS NO bilingual cover, I may change my stance.

I found these at MGM's site. I miss the old artwork, though the box itself looks sharp.

I also emailed MGM about the packaging. We'll see what they say.

MGM sucks! Rocky V is not even remastered in this set, check out the new video game, it states all remastered except V!

Okay, I emailed dvdsoon and here is the response I just got back:

"Dear Sir:

This product has bilingual packaging and I do beleive it is different from the US product since this one has a french track.

I can live with it since it is a terrible movie to begin with. I'm glad that Rocky 1 through 4 are getting remastered since they are the only ones I will watch.

VF is usually displayed if this isn't a US copy, I don't see that anywhere on the site.

How would they know what the packaging is? Do they have a copy? I'm not saying Miss Nelson does not know anything about her product, just that we need more information.

Why should anyone give a damn about the language on the packaging?

$28 for 6 DVDs!!!!.....You can't beat that anywhere else!

The content of the discs is the only thing that should matter.

One more thing.... are we sure that dvdsoon's listing is not a misprice? I wondering if they transposed the numbers and the actual price should be 53 CAD ($42 USD).

Now, since we KNOW the US and Canadian sets are different. We do not have a full confirmation of the Canadian version specs. We have heard that it will have a 5.1 DD French Language Track ... so is anything on the US version going to be bumped to accommodate it?

The first film is the only one that's going to have a DTS track, right?

Who gives a toss about bilingual packaging?

Oh, for Pete's sake! The packaging is paper that wraps around the real product, the film(s). You know this is Rocky, the English is still on there....who cares? Why make any distinction at all over this, if the content of the discs is equivalent?

I've seen similar comments before, and I don't understand them at all. It just seems incredibly petty to even complain about this, let alone not purchase DVDs because of it. I'm completely baffled.

Sorry if I'm helping this thread to veer off-topic, but seeing this come up with yet another title, I just had to say something.

Enjoy the movies, everyone!

Are you sure that the 20% Sale will extend to Dec 14? I remember it only lasting 5 days and couldn't be used with pre-orders.
