Eric, you are correct. Thanks. (A $1.99 bottle of Herbal Essences shampoo (which I have to buy for someone in my family anyway) did the trick.)
But, at least around here, you have to add tax.
buy it the 1st day its at walmart... the 1st two EEs were in the $23 range with...umm.. free shipping.

Yep, I picked it up with STL also....I picked up a CD marker to go along with it....I actually spent the extra $3.xx to put it over $25...didn't realize I would've only needed a $2 item....oh well, I need the CD markers anyways.

In the meantime, I'll look around to see if I can find something.

A funny thing...I preordered a DVD (Greg The Bunny) and along with it I preordered a few Sharpies. 2 different CD markes actually. They shipped the markers early...already got them. Funny thing is....they shipped them in seperate, BIG-ASS boxes. It was ONE marker in this BIG box...I was like wtf is this...
Oh well, at least it shipped early.....pretty nice of Amazon to do that

I am going to use my $25 Amazon Visa card promo certificate with STL to get the ROTK EE for free.
To get the free shipping I am thinking of combining either with HP:Prisoner of Azkaban @ $16.17 (with STL) or Spider-Man 2 superbit @ $18.87 with STL. I can wait for a couple of weeks to get HP or SM2.
My dilemma is: Could HP or spiderman 2 be possibly cheaper at B&M stores on release date?
[Edit]
Decided to go with ROTK:EE + HP shipped together.
Used Amazon reward cert for $25 + A9 search engine discount of 0.59 cents + STL + free shipping for a grand total of $12.17 for ROTK:EE & HP:POA .

Thanks for the info - someone had left me a STL for this item, added a bottle of Suave Daily Clarifying Shampoo 15 oz. for $1.09 - grand total:
$22.68
Suave - makes you look like you spent a fortune on your hair - and great for padding up to the required $25/free shipping.

To get the A9.com discount, simply do any websearch with the A9 box on the top left of the page at Amazon. Then cookies will remember and you'll get the 1.57% discount on subsequent orders. Don't know how long that will hold, so just do another search every once in awhile.
Don't worry, Amazon may increase the price later, but they will honor the current price if you order it.
Although Amazon normally has 30% off MSRP on most pre-orders, I've noticed that lately they seem to have adopted a "loss-leader" approach by aggressively pricing the really "big" titles like LOTR:ROTK:EE at 40% off MSRP. They did it with the Star Wars box, and it's still priced the same today, well after release date.
Some other 40% off pre-orders: Shrek 2, Spider-Man 2 (but not the Superbit version), Harry Potter.
Adding in the STL and A9 discounts, and combining to get free shipping and with no sales tax (for many), you are hard pressed to beat it. Especially if you're like me and use your Amazon.com VISA card for everything and earn GCs.
Just watch your orders carefully and make sure they don't drop your STL discount when it ships. Happened on two of my recent orders. They quickly corrected it by crediting me, but it's a bit of a hassle to have to track your orders so closely.
