Sadly, we don't have some nice new Miyazaki titles to get this time around. I might sell the other two titles to offset the cost of Aladdin, assuming there isn't a better price around.

I saw a TRU ad today for next week that has that Buy 2 Get 1 deal, but only until Oct. 3. Aladdin releases Oct. 5, doesn't it?

If you are willing to wait a bit, and are willing to do a little work, you can get it for free through Buy.com (or any other item).
They currently are runnning a promotion with Great Fun, a subscription service that offers discounts on various things. If you sign up for the two-month free trail, you get four $25 mail-in rebates for Buy.com, one good for each quarter of the year. Furthermore, along with other things, Great Fun allows you to print up to 50 Entertainment Book coupons. You can cherry pick any coupon you want, for any place that Entertainment Book publishes their coupon book.
I have dealt with Great Fun before and never had a problem, and this is how I am buying my Aladdin (along with a $5 gc).

Those of you in CT. MA, RI, NY, or southern NY state/NYC area can get it for $9.99 next week at Stop & Shop. Buy 10 items listed in a box in this week's circular (best deal - Del Monte canned vegetables - 4/$1, limit 8) and get a $10 checkout coupon when you cash out, good for the Aladdin DVD. Next week's sale price is $19.99-$10 coupon=$9.99 (plus the cost of the veggies, $4 total, but if you eat them anyway then that $4 is a wash and it's still a good deal). The participating items must be purchased by 10/2 and the coupon expires 10/9.

Also, next week's S&S flyer is advertising the gift set for $39.99 so you should be able to get that for $29.99 with the coupon, if that's the one you prefer.

The Stop & Shop in Paramus, NJ knew nothing about the Aladdin deal. The only DVD that they even carried was Scooby-Doo 2.
The best release date deal looks to be Best Buy using the 20% off Madden coupon: $15.99 - 20% = $12.79 + Tax. Obviously, this is only if you have the Madden coupon.

Oh well hopefully Wal-mart will have it cheaper.
