Any news on a new DDD 20% off coupon?

I am not sure if this is the right forum. Does anyone have any idea when Deep Discount Dvd will have one of their 20% off coupon deals? Do they do it often?

Thanks!

Hopefully they should have another between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Their last one was around the 4th of July, so hopefully they will continue to do it two or three times a year.

He's just joking.

They've only had 2 official 20% off sales. If history repeats itself, the next one will be during the holiday season (end of November/beginning of December).

Yeah, Nov/Dec is my guess (unless of course, they have another "surprise" sale like last time )

Yes, last year's sale was 11/27 - 12/5. So, I would anticipate something similar this year.

What if..

What if they have only a 10% off sale. Wouldn't that throw everyone for a surprise!

At this rate I'll be spending at last $1500, so it's their loss if I have to take my business elsewhere. I'm sure another site will have a good sale if they don't.

I add tons of anime, martial and live action titles to my Wish List worth $800 - $1200 and wait for the 20% off sale. If turn out only 10% off i think i spend $$$ on somewhere else or wait till another 20% off again

Huh? Even at 10% off, I think DDD will have the lowest prices, unless you guys are talking about some other site I don't know about. Are we just spoiled?

You can complain about the customer service, shipping times, and their website design all you want, but I'm usually very happy with DDD prices with free shipping... expecially at 20% off, but even with only 10%...

They may have the lowest prices, but in general the 20% off sale makes me buy more than I normally would. If it was only 10% off, I'd only buy the titles I "need."

I don't want another sale. I for one am still questioning myself ethically regarding the spending of about $700 on the last sale.

DDD has plenty of titles which are not even close to being the lowest priced. Even after 20% off for some of them. I always use dvdpricesearch when shopping their 20% sales and have rejected about 15% of the titles I was interested in because somewhere else was cheaper.

Not bad ... it's been almost two weeks since the last thread asking the same thing....

http://www.dvdtalk.com/forum/showthr...hreadid=382207

Does anyone honestly believe that if/when DDD has another coupon, it will go unnoticed on this forum? Geoff (and dozens of other DVD Talkers) won't learn about it and post?

A quarterly 20% off sale would be nice.

I'm definitely hoping for the 20% off sale this Thanksgiving/X-Mas. I've been holding out (slightly) for a while.

I just want to point out that just because they have had 2 20% off sales, that doesn't necessarily imply a trend. I wouldn't bank on DDD having a 20% off sale this winter. And when and if it does, I'm sure DVDTalk members will be some of the first to find out.

Here is another thread about the next DDD sale and I still am getting pre-orders from the last one. I need to give my credit card a little rest for a few months.
