Never mind. Found pics posted at the talk forum.

Anyone else notice the "Cailfornia Mountain Snake" typo on the sleeve?

Futureshop in Canada is giving away a free Kill Bill 16-month calendar if you purchase the DVD. Don't know if it's wall size or desk size though. Anybody get one?

Sweet Deal

I got Kill Bill 1 for $4.99 and Kill Bill 2 for $10.99 using the Circuit City print out. No Problem. It didn't originally ring up that way but the clerk showed the printout to the manager and he approved an override. I also know of another person who used it without a problem.

Lucky stiff. I got shot down @ the CC I went to this AM. "Reason" given was that they couldn't replicate it on the web. 3 different clerks handled(got in on) my request/checkout - including a manager type.

Maybe I'll try another??

I was one of many shot down at CC, then. Tried bringing the printout in today at the Tyson's VA CC, and found they didn't have any Kill Bill Vol. 1. Asked a guy to check the stock, and apparently they had seven which had mysteriously been put in the back.

So far, so good. Grab Kill Bill 2 and go to customer service. Say I want a price match to an employee, at which time a pain in the ass manager that overheard seemed to make it his personal case to be about as rude as possible. He asked how I had found that copy of Vol. 1, since he had placed them in the back for the time being.

Apparently two other people had tried this earlier today at the store, and after he called corporate to check what the story was, figured the easiest solution was to remove the stores stock of Vol. 1 until Sunday. I tried debating how the printout with his store's address on it clearly said $4.99 for a couple minutes, but I'd have had better luck talking to the wall. A shame, I was pretty sure this would have been an easy price match.

Bloody shame CC never had it on it's web-site to order for $4.99... Guess I'll just end up waiting on the Special Limited Collector's Quentin Tarantino Signature Edition Kill Bill: The Collected Duology release in a year after all.

Since the magic CC Misprice is dead, what's the best deal on V1 and V2 purchased together?

Media Play has a pretty good deal.

Kill Bill Volume 2 is $15.99
and
Kill Bill Volume 1 is $10.99 if purchased at the same time.

$27 + tax is about the best I've seen.

I was able to get Kill Bill Vol. 1 for $4.99 but they wouldn't give me the additional $5 off for buyin' both vol. 1 & 2 so I just got Vol. 1 for $4.99. I already have it but I'll give it away as a birthday gift or something.

There's also a coupon on the cover to KB2 if you buy KB1 at the same time ... don't know if anyone's tried it with the offers that stores are running now or not.
