This is the Mastercard link:

http://www.mastercard.com/specialoff...rd/143801.html

Once you enter, click on the US flag. In the sreach, just type Superbit and you'll see the list. They have added many over time (Das Boot, xXx & more) but they are out of stock on some of them. Regardless, was and is a great deal!

Ok thanks... I'm just out some change really, so no big loss, but I'll remember that for next time!

Pat, either way...all depends on how what they use for the exchange rate....regardless...the difference could be + or - 15 cents or so. I just stick with the US site...less hassle.

How long does it normally take CD-Wow to ship an order? I placed an order a few days ago and haven't recieved anything. No order confirmation or any e-mail.

Thanks

How do you know that your order has shipped? Do they send you an e-mail?

I've ordered several of these Superbits (Gattaca, Das Boot, Dracula, and Fifth Element) and have been very happy with price and shipping time. Seems like one was OOS and took a bit longer but at this price it's well worth the wait. They send you an email when it ships. To me the packaging appears the same as the R1 releases except there is no barcode. I'm not sure why. By all means, jump on this deal. It is for real.

Ordered Fifth Element SB last Tuesday through cd-wow.net MasterCard link and paid through WorldPay with my Amex card. Never saw the order listed on my account. E-mailed customer service for a status late Wednesday. Received a reply Thursday saying they found the problem, corrected it, and that my order was being processed. Received an e-mail on Saturday saying the order was shipped. Received it Wednesday (yesterday). It shipped from Hong Kong! Pretty good turnaround.

This is my first SB title and I thought the cardboard sleeve was fairly sturdy, comparable to the one my R1 Scarface came in. I've read complaints that the cardboard was flimsier than other R1 SB titles, but since this is my first SB title of any region, I don't have anything else to compare to other than my Scarface. The case was a clear keepcase. The insert only listed the chapters. The disk (R3 on the cover) played fine on my R1 un-modded Pioneer DV-45A. I started watching the movie but didn't finish, it was late. The picture quality was pretty good and the DTS sounded good too, although I did keep the volume down.

Great customer service. I'm going to order Infernal Affairs (HK movie) today and give that a shot. It's supposed to be all regions. I was also going to order Hero (R3), but after reading some of the complaints about the disk quality of the recent batch for this title sold by them, I think I'm going to hold off for now. I e-mailed them to ask about this and they sent the same reply they sent another poster blaming the player. Still, $12.95 for an SB title is pretty darn good. I might order CTHD SB from them.

Arg, the site seems to be messed up. Images not loading, and nothing showing on various pages as far as content goes.

Did you click on the US flag link in the upperleft corner after you went through the MasterCard link provided in this thread? If you don't click on the US link, the images won't appear and everything will look funky.

Definitely use the mastercard link provided above. Don't use www.cd-wow.net. It routed me to www7.cd-wow.net which had problems loading. I believe the mastercard link sends you to a www3.cd-wow.net site which loads fine. If the mastercard link somehow sends you to a www7 site, then you might have to clear your cookies if you had either ordered through the link already or even just browsed in a previous session. I think I read something about that somewhere in one of these forums. Hope that helps.

I got all of mine in last Thursday or Friday... but CTHD SB came loose and was scratched up. It plays fine, but the scratches annoy me. Not sure if it's worth the trouble to ship it back across the ocean.

Thanks OP. Received The Fifth Element today and it played fine on my region 1 Toshiba DVD player.

BTW, Gattaca: Superbit (DTS) is $9.95 now. Just ordered one.

Amazon has Panic Room: Superbit for 12.71 if you are already placing an order anyway and need filler for free shipping.

Click on the American flag?

I ordered Gattaca 11/12 and it never came. They shipped me out another a few days ago the same way. I wish they would have tracked it or something, because if this one gets lost I'm SOL.

One of the drawbacks of free shipping.

If it gets lost again, inform customer service.

I believe after the third attempt, they force you to change the delivery address. Not sure if they eventually blacklist you.

So far I've only had one package non-deliverable.

Same here. They just shipped out another copy of Dracula: SB, so hopefully this one will arrive.
