DVD Talk Special Edition
I know this is a stupid question, but I'm having a hard time getting the disc out of the case. I never had a case like this R3 one. Do I just keep pushing down on the hub until it comes out? I don't want to break the disc or case. I got The Patriot 2 disc Superbit.

What I would suggest is whole holding it down, you gentle try and lift from the side and see what happens. I have had this happen many times, mostly with region 1 discs. After a little wiggling, I get it to work.

got my copy of Desperado a few days ago. This was real fast turn around.
I now will look at this site for future orders since this was such a good experience.
Thanks for the thread Bill

This may be a dumb question, but what makes the Superbits so great anyways? Take Resident Evil for instance or Men in Black, seems to me the SE's of these movies have more features and extras than the Superbits. Can someone convince me of the differences when the Superbit packaging doesn't state any of these extras are included?

I wasn't sure if you were joking or not.

Can anyone confirm for me if any of the extras/features and commentaries that appear on the SE's of these movies are also included on the Superbits? Content is more important to me than DTS sound.

Man, I hate these deal forums. Just when I said I was going to stop spending money on extra's.
I have been wondering about Superbit Picture quality. I picked up Vertical Limit to see if there was truly a difference. I use the standard version to show off the PQ of my projector.
Also, got Desperado just because.

Like a previous person posted, if you have a high end TV, that is where you will see most of the difference.

I like you, decided to stick with the Men In Black limited edition, then upgrading to the SuperBit. Now, there are a few titles that I really love, that I just happen to have both. For example, Desperado. I really dig the extras, but this is one of those movies I want to see with the best quality and sound on the 65" Widescreen. So, I own both. Obviously, I'm nuts, and not everyone does this. :-)

This person does a great regular vs. superbit comparison on certain movies (5th Element included):
www.videophile.info/Review/Page_01.htm
I can tell you that if you've got a projector there is a very noticeable difference, at least on the one 1 own both copies of (Vertical Limit).
I'm sure the bigger the screen the bigger the difference.

Don't need a region free player. Superbits from R3 will play in an R1 machine! This is an old thread....there is a slightly newer one that is in the international forum.

Are these still available on CD Wow? I can't seem to find any of them listed; typing in "Superbit" brings no results, and neither did typing just the titles of the movies.

It worked for me earlier...
I ordered Gattaca, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and The Patriot.
Thanks!
A bit more than 12.95 though, for me it was something like $13 and some change each... but I'm not complaining!
