The Death of Superman Best Buy exclusive includes a small hardcover comic book called Death of Superman: The Wake. I believe it is original stories by Louise Simonson drawn by the same artists from the Death of Superman storyarc.

The Best Buy exclusive of Reign of Supermen includes a full size hardcover Death of Superman trade.

The Target exclusive of Spider-Man: Far From Home includes a blu-ray case sized book called Peter Parker's Travel Journal

Deadpool 2 Super Duper Cut Target exclusive includes a Deadpool 2 (Not Suitable For) Children's Book

It's from a digital comic that was released the same time as the Blu-Ray. It's 96 pages and not even the complete story! They printed up to where the digital comic was current. I believe there were two more installments afterwards.

Anyone know what promo at Best Buy where these Superman books given with? It seems they were released around the time of Superman Returns

Hard to say because I regularly visited Best Buy around that time and don't remember seeing any of them. I would have definitely come across them if they had been widespread promos. Best Buy and Circuit City before them always had a tough time actively handling these kind of promotional items. Usually they'd end up in a pile by the register with no one, including employees, knowing what they were for.

I don’t remember them either, but with my memory and hoarding, I might have dozens in storage.

Flipping through the book I found in the center that these inserted with specially marked DVDs at Best Buy. There are 8 different covers and they are about the size of the comic books that came with cereals like 4 years ago, not regular sized at all. I learned about this when a friend from my LCS gave me the one with the Jim Lee cover. That one reprints Man of Steel 1 by John Byrne and has a misprint inside saying that the cover is by Alex Ross. The last page has a 800 number to call to find the closes LCS and the back cover promotes the then released Superman DVD releases.

I just realized you don't have any of the Arrow LEs that come with comics:

• Re-Animator (collection of the 1991 Re-Animator adaptation)
• Society (collection of the 2003 comic sequel Society: Party Animal)
• Creepshow 2 (a new comic adaptation of the unfilmed Pinfall sequence)

This is coming out on 3/15/22 and includes that mini comic book on the left

^ Happy to see it reprinted (from 2020's Blu-Ray release). I believe only the first run got the comic. Same with the Bumblebee release.

Can't believe I forgot to mention this one - The 50th Anniversary Doctor Who Limited Edition Blu-Ray Gift Set came with an IDW comic book created especially for the set.

Just checked my Bumblebee BD+DVD+DC w/ slipcover, it did not have the comic, so only the first run...

Anyone has information about this book? Saw 2 copies at GalaxyCon this past weekend and the seller hadn’t even noticed that the book was a reprint and not the original Marvel release. I’ve seen the book sell online too and yet no one has information about it other than it was given with the Alf-The Complete Series. The book is full size, not an ashcan, so it didn’t come inside the package, so either it must have been a store exclusive given when you purchased the box set or a mail in giveaway

While sorting through my DVDs this week, I noticed that the American Splendor DVD comes with an exclusive American Splendor comic! I've owned this since 2003 and this was the first time I noticed it!

I can't believe that even the back of the DVD case says this was included! I never noticed it before. It was hidden behind the chapter insert.
