Justice League was so bad it killed a lot of interest in the New 52. Jim Lee's art and costume designs were starting to look very long in the tooth almost the minute they were released. The writing was no better. Probably the worst work done by Johns at DC. It was clear he was attempting to write a guidebook for future Hollywood adaptations but a lot of it was simplistic and cheesy.
