X-Men Fall Of The Mutants Omnibus HC from gohastings.com (was a deal of the day a few days back). Got it for a great price...$16.95 including S&H (retails for $99.99).

After reading that Daredevil run, I was jonesing for some Captain Marvel and took a look at this:



However, I ended up getting this volume with a lot of the same issues. Not as many issues total, and more expensive, but in color. The title appears to be movie-related marketing, but whatever.

And you didn't tell us about this deal why?

I remember reading a few issues of the crossover side-stories back when the floppies first came out, but not the proper main story. Let me know how it is and if that huge trade is worth picking up.

I grew up on X-book since the late '70s, but stopped reading them in the early '00s. So I've never read this, but I heard really good things.
