Found a graphic novel, Solomon's Thieves at the Dollar Tree tonight, so couldn't resist of course.

I've heard that before. I wanted to hit my LCBS today for their sale, but just couldn't man up enough to tell the wife I was leaving our family celebrations to buy more comics.

The latest Parker GN came in the mail today.

Darwyn Cooke always does a great job with these -- I'm looking forward to digging in!

Man, I love Darwyn Cooke. I'm kind of kicking myself for not bringing Trail of the Catwoman on my vacation.

Just got this for more than 50% off:

Looking forward to reading it, as it's supposed to be one solid, cohesive story with Fury kicking a lot of ass.

X-Men Fall Of The Mutants Omnibus HC from gohastings.com (was a deal of the day a few days back). Got it for a great price...$16.95 including S&H (retails for $99.99).

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

After reading that Daredevil run, I was jonesing for some Captain Marvel and took a look at this:

However, I ended up getting this volume with a lot of the same issues. Not as many issues total, and more expensive, but in color. The title appears to be movie-related marketing, but whatever.

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

Trevor...I was alerted to the deal at a well known comic site after it had been on for several hours, and I just did not think to post on this site. Heck, I only just noticed that there is a huge thread just to highlight gohastings deals under the Blu Ray bargains forum.

I'll try to post these type of deals in a timely manner.

Awesome, thanks!

I just realized that I haven't bought a comic book or graphic novel all year. Time to hit the LCBS!

Seven Soldiers of Victory Vol 1 & 2.

I've never read them, but it's by Morrison, so I doubt I will be disappointed.

Re: What's the last TPB/Graphic Novel you bought?

I already have the 2 Planetary Absolute editions (along with all the floppies), but I wanted everything together in one volume and this has the side-stories the Absolutes skip.

Best cross-over/event Marvels done in a really long time, probably since Infinity Gauntlet.

Between this, Criminal, Incognito and Sleeper, fuckin' Brubaker & Phillips keep knocking it out of the park.

I grew up on X-book since the late '70s, but stopped reading them in the early '00s. So I've never read this, but I heard really good things.
