They were quite strange to start with, at just 2 and 7 pages. I think that perhaps they were meant to be free with a bundle, but briefly went live unbundled accidentally. I was able to buy them, but they now don't appear in my recent purchase list.

They've been doing a lot of those little bonus extras type of books as bundle only things lately.

Interestingly, a lot of the volumes are the new Boom series. I've only read bits of those and they're not as good as the classics, but I wouldn't mind reading them in a bundle. The classics so far are mostly the themed collections, with the only chronological one being the first volume from 1950-52. I think I'll keep an eye on this one and see how it progresses.

Yeah, it's a pretty nice mix of old and new. I don't own any of the Boom books yet, so I went ahead and did the middle tier to secure all those. That guarantees that this will be a bundle where the average drops like a rock going into Charlie Brown's trick or treat bag. I'll up to the $15 later possibly.

New freebie at Dark Horse.
https://digital.darkhorse.com/profil...cters-sampler/

Marvel has cycled their monthly five free #1 issues.
https://www.comixology.com/free-comics

Another Invincible sale, ends 11/9/15. 121 singles, 20 collections, $100 bundle.
https://www.comixology.com/Invincible-Sale/page/8686

Peanuts sale from Boom ends 11/9/15, 9 collections and 32 singles. But don't buy these here. All of these are in, or likely will be added to, the current Humble Bundle, where they are a much better bargain.

Friday only sale from Marvel on The Ultimates, $.99 singles.
The Ultimates 1-14
The Ultimates 2 1-14
The Ultimates 3 1-5
https://www.comixology.com/Ultimates-Sale/page/8740

Unknown duration sale on a Suffrajitsu mini from Jet City.
https://www.comixology.com/Suffrajit...s-series/36028

It seems like an odd marketing tactic for there to be concurrent Comixology sales and Humble Bundles on the same items - such as has been the case for Army of Darkness and now Peanuts.

Rest well era of weekly Dark Horse sales; you were nice while you lasted. [Fingers crossed the epic Cyber Monday deals will remain].

I guess Boom's reasoning might be that the markets don't necessarily overlap, so might as well push the series in all avenues, particularly with the Peanuts movie coming out (today?).

All I want right now is a Manifest Destiny sale! Is that so much to ask for?

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I'm surprised to see a sale on Maximum Carnage, I picked up the digital collection in one of the BOGO sales because I assumed it was a dated relic not likely to be spotlighted [Carnage feels like an remnant from the 'extreme' 90s era, a failed attempt to make Venom even darker to a fault]. Speaking of which, I wish Marvel would complete the Clone Saga trades to be available digitally.

I have fond memories of trying to piece together the Maximum Carnage series within the limitations of my allowance and lunch money.

...Waiting on another Savage Dragon sale.

I bought them all, I thought, in one of the BOGO sales as well. Noticed one was missing though, so picked it up in the Marvel app just now. Makes me wonder though, if maybe I purchased it twice. Anyone ever have purchases disappear from their account?

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I'm not sure why I always avoid buying into this sale, as The Sandman is perhaps the best comic series ever; perhaps because I already own it in multiple physical versions. But anyway, the week long sale from DC/Vertigo is on tons of Sandman and Sandman-related greatness. Sale ends 11/16/15, $.99 singles and $5.99 collections.
The Sandman 1-75 and Special 1; ten collections and Endless Nights original graphic novel
The Sandman: The Dream Hunters 1-4; collection
Death: The High Cost of Living 1-3; deluxe collection
Death: The Time of Your Life 1-3; same deluxe collection
The Dreaming 1-60
The Dead Boy Detectives 1-12; two collections and one original graphic novel
Neverwhere 1-9; collection
The Books of Magic 1-4; collection
Black Orchid 1-3; collection
The Children's Crusade 1-2
The Girl Who Would Be Death 1-4
Midnight Days original graphic novel
Witchcraft 1-3
Witchcraft: La Terreur 1-3
Destiny: A Chronicle of Deaths Foretold 1-3
https://www.comixology.com/Sandman-Sale/page/8705

Also, a week long sale from IDW on their remastered versions of the Image original (classic?) The Maxx. The first three collections have a higher page count than the singles, but not the fourth; sale ends 11/16/15.
The Maxx: Maxximized 1-24 at $.99 each
collections 1-3 at $3.99 each (issues 1-4, 5-8, 9-12)
collection 4 at $5.99 (issues 13-18)

I was wondering about that - it means no extras in the TP? Are there any bonuses in the single issues not included in the collection?

It's a great series, but I already have the original Image books, so not too stressed to get it in digital form as well.

I flipped through the first volume of Maxximized and see 2-3 intro splash pages, a one page introduction from Sam Keith, and at the end a 10 page cover (b&w, variants) and raw sketch gallery.

Of the ten Image #1's on my Comixology wishlist Lazarus is the only one offered. So I grabbed that and The Walking Dead #1.
