There is also a new Saint Patrick's sale on historical looking stuff. Looks cool, but it's French language only and I never got beyond counting to ten.

Thanks. It's funny, I just looked thru all my Humble Bundles today (it takes forever for that page to load) and bookmarked the comic ones or easier reference. I don't remember seeing Project Superpowers in there, but I'll look again.

But then it might raise an organizational conundrum/ first world problem. If I love it and want to buy the rest of the stuff, do I not buy the one volume I own on HB? Forever leaving a hole in my Comixology run?

So still trying to decide whether to get more new52 flash, so I finally sat down and read the first five issues.

Wow it's terrible. Don't get me wrong, the art is pretty, but the plot is all over the place, and I can't imagine reading this monthly and being satisfied. They introduce a new character who's supposed to be a childhood friend, and maybe I'm just jaded but I don't care anything about him. There are many times when I'm just left confused... Why did they go for a flashback here instead of presenting it in a logical way? Why is the power out and then we have a bunch of police on horseback to get through the city? Why is it that Barry's new power allows him to caclculate the future and yet also gets him shot? It's clear that Manapul knows how to draw but somehow it doesn't come together for me.

Does it get any better?

I vaguely remember reading the first trade and enjoying it, but even with your comments I don't recall a single thing about it.

I haven't read beyond the first story arc of any New 52 book except for Justice League Dark.
