Three new sales start today; will detail momentarily. No new bundles or freebies that I see. The Crossed, Green Arrow, and Marvel Collections sales continue.

Humanoids now has an app; so I guess I'll check their catalog out for the first time. Iirc from earlier post sere, there should be at least a couple freebies.

Another Walking Dead sale, this one ends 3/31, all 19 collections and issues 1-121 are included.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Image is having what they're calling the Tech Jacket sale thru 3/30. Included are:

Invincible Universe issues 1-6 and the collection

Tech Jacket 1-8, the collection, and Tech Jacket Digital 1-3

Guarding the Globe volume one 1-6 and collection, and volume two 1-6 and collection

Science Dog 1-2 (this reprints the never collected backup stories from Invincible)

The Astounding Wolf-Man 1-25 (the first issue was/is free)

I don't think I've sampled any of this Kirkman superhero fare; is it any good?

From Marvel there is a web only and unknown duration sale on Mark Waid's Captain America: the five issue Man out of Time mini, issues 444-454 on volume 1, and the first 23 issues of volume 2.

Thanks for this. I love it and have almost everything in print. It fills my "fun" superhero need and is basically self contained so it's easy to follow/collect without going crazy.

I'm going to pick up the Tech Jacket Digital issues. I was interested in them whent hey were announced, but not full price interested.

The Waid sale is on the app now, and ends 3/30.

Anyone else have problems downloading and reading all of those free Marvel #1s from last year? They all show up as physically on my iPad even though none of them actually are. Sometimes a restore fixes it and let's me download them, but it's not working today.

starman and I have talked about this before, but I'm a big fan as well. I have all of the Invincible run in TPB/HC (many in both!) so far and all of Astounding Wolf-Man and the first Guardians of the Globe. Invincible and The Walking Dead are the only two current books I've been keeping up with (well, now I've added Saga and Lazarus but anyway...). Trevor, I bet you have Invincible #1 in your Comixology collection already. :)

I vaguely recall reading and loving Invincible back when I was still occasionally buying floppies. I think I have the first hardcover too.

I read the previously free Astounding Wolf-man #1 yesterday. Between it being decent and my vague Invincible memories, I bought a few of the sale trades.

New sale "until the end of time" from IDW on Doctor Who; 86 floppies and a bunch of collections.

No new sales, freebies, or bundles today that I can see. At least a couple of the ongoing 5 sales end today.

Marvel Monday on on a bunch of Winter Soldier and Black Widow. I don't think I've ever read anything of either. I'd sample the number ones if I can get past that glitch I'm having with them on my iPad. Oh wait, I can use the Marvel app..

Saw this at SD. I don't know if this is a good deal, but thought you might be interested:

No new freebies or bundles (outside of a bundle inside a sale) today, but several new sales. Details to follow.

Yep, not sure if Amazon is matching the new Comixology sale or vice versa.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

From Marvel we get a huge Ultimate Spider-man sale lasting until 4/3/14. There are 199 different books for 99 cents each; or, on the web only, a bundle for $99. I have never really tried their Ultimate universe, and this sale didn't tempt me at all until I saw that web bundle.

Ultimate Spider-man 1-133

Ultimate Six 1-7

Ultimate Comics Spider-man 1-15, 150-160

Ultimatum: Spider-man Requiem 1-2

Ultimate Comics Spider-man vol 2 1-28 (including 16.1)

Cataclysm: Ultimate Comics Spider-man 1-3

Someone talk me out of buying this bundle please.

Trevor 04-01-14 07:14 AM

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

We have a new Marvel collections sale, possibly matching Kindle sales, unknown duration.

1602 $3.99

Runaways vol 1 Pride and Joy $1.99

All New X-Men vol 1 Yesterday's X-Men $3.99

New Avengers vol 1 Breakout $1.99

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

We have an unknown duration sale on the old Mad Magazine; issues 1-23 for 99 cents each.

I almost bought them but then remembered that I think I own that old DVD of the the first x00 issues.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Another Marvel collections sale, this one on four Captain America volumes; mostly repeats from recent sales and bundles. Each $3.99, unknown duration.

Captain America Winter Soldier vol. 1

Captain America Castaway in Dimension Z (not recovering a recent sale)

Captain America The Death of Captain America vol 1 Death of the Dream

Captain America Reborn

Trevor 04-01-14 07:37 AM

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

And the usual (?) Tuesday week long sale from DC, this time on Geoff Johns 'Aquaman'. 121 different books for 99 cents each.

Aquaman (new 52) 1-25, 0, annual 1

Brightest Day 1-24, 0

Justice League (new 52) 15-17

Hawkman (2002-2006) 1-12

JSA (1999-2002) 6-15

Flash (1987-2009) 164-174

Superman: Secret Origin 1-6

Booster Gold (2007-2011) 1-6

Flashpoint 1-5

Teen Titans (2003-2011) 1-6

JSA: Classified 1-4

Adventure Comics (2009-2011) 1-6

I think I'm maybe soon $80 poorer out of this lot.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I just loaded the Comixology-based Image app for the first time and found 8 new-to-me freebies.

And another fwiw, to fix that Marvel #1s bug in my Comixology app I ended up contacting customer support and having to delete and re-install.

Picked up Winter Soldier Vol 1 from Amazon. Wish Vol 2 was on sale too.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Humanoids is having a $25 free credit of some kind. Web only perhaps, haven't done it yet myself, but see the buzz.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

No new sales, freebies, or bundles that I can see so far; which is fine because I'm tempted to spend about $200 from yesterday's sales.
