Standard reminder that leaving promo codes in your cart (must also have at least one comic in your cart) keeps them valid even after the listed expiration date. Used the b1g1f code on the current massive Spider-Man sale, ended up with over 400 comics for $103.

A little pricier that most bundles, but $40 for ~70 Eisner-nominated Image books is a pretty good deal. I particularly recommend Man-Eaters.

Sure I’ve mentioned this before, but when you check the freebies by date link, be sure to scroll down and look thru the past, as they add stuff belatedly fairly often.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)
I guess we don’t have a DCU specific thread in comics. Is anyone reading the comics there? It started off poorly, with a fairly small rotating selection. But as of a few months ago there are a ton of comics there, over 20k iirc. Fairly new stuff added regularly, Doomsday Clock up to issue 5 for example.
At first, I had no interest in the comics part of DCU, the excellent exclusive TV shows are more than worth the cost. The thought of reading a comic on my TV didn’t seem like anything I’d be interested in. But after playing around with it a bit lately, I’m impressed. The resolution/picture quality is quite good, and I’ve enjoyed a couple of the different reading modes. I usually do full-screen view, clicking ahead as I finish each page. I’m using a 55” TV, and reading size is huge and easily readily standing or sitting several feet away. There’s also a guided few with automatic panel progression. You can tweak the panel change speed, and transition speed. It’s actually pretty decent once you set the speed to your liking; a nice way to read a book without having to touch any buttons (or pages).
I’ve been using it to read stuff that I haven’t bought, which isn’t much, but have had fun exploring some of my unread corners of DC history.

Trevor, why are you reading the DCU comics on your TV instead of your tablet (I assume you have a tablet because of all the digital comics)?

Just to play around with the possibilities at first. But now, I think I’ll be doing it regularly. It’s nice to be able to multitask, walk/jog while I read.

Not familiar with Grumble, but I take all the non-manga freebies.

Fwiw, in the past, I've occasionally searched Comixology for key words like preview and sampler and fcbd. Years ago this netted a thousand or more freebies. I just searched again and found nothing new, so that confirms to me that the “free by date” link catches all the new and retroactive freebies.
Decided to search “0 issue” (0 by itself didn’t work, but perhaps if I added a space it would have worked) and found several old, but new to me, freebies.

Comixology has various sales covering almost everything. Best, the everything DC 60% codeword DC60 sale combines with the big Vertigo sale creating some crazy combo discounts.

90% off Lucifer collections was too good a deal to pass up. Now that I’m done with summer classes I actually have time to read again. I blew through three Immortal Hulk collections yesterday.

Two free issues of Carnival Row. I believe the offer is only good through 9/4.

Be careful with the new 'What If' books listed in the "Free Comics" section - they are priced at $1,99 each, despite being 'free'. I wrote Comixology about it, but haven't heard back.

I logged out and these all show as Free and I out them into a cart and were still free.
Maybe try logging out and back in to see if the prices fix themselves.

It seems that the second link on the wiki doesn't work anymore.
