Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I don't read Marvel titles save for checking out a few things on Unlimited, but I did receive this coupon if anyone didn't participate with the promotion. Just let others know you used it.

Here is your $5 off $15 coupon: STARWARS-6J642

Thanks! It worked well on a Knights of the Old Republic omnibus.

New Star Trek bundle at Humble. The $1 tier is a crazy value with about 100 comics.

The Marvel freebies in the main free page have cycled.

Youíre quite welcome! And I wouldn't go that far, plenty of you post more in comics than me, but I have refocused my hobbies the last year or so and am primarily focused on my first true love, the comic book.

Now back to reading, Iím finally diving into Geoff Johnsí JSA. Although so far, he hasnít written the first five issues in the Geoff Johns JSA Omnibus......

Who wrote it, Goyer and Robinson? It flows pretty seamlessly, though. One of the things I love(d) about DC were the legacy and golden age characters and JSA is a love letter to them.

If you haven't already, check out Robinson's Starman and especially Robinson's Golden Age, which is an Elseworlds but still plays into the series (later there's a tie in to Kingdom Come if you haven't read that yet).

Yes, Goyer and Robinson.

Starman is another of the “I loved the first issue so I bought it all and someday I’ll read it” titles. Pretty sure I read GA and KC as they came out, but it’s been forever so they’re in the queue too.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Fwiw, I followed the link in the wiki to the free comics at Amazon for the first time in at least 6 months. Found at least 100 new to me, with 30 or so being automatically transferred to Comixology too.

A new Valiant "Bloodshot 2020" comics bundle on Humble bundle:

https://www.humblebundle.com/books/b...-valiant-books

Many repeats, but also some new books, especially in the higher tiers.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Comixology is doing daily mystery flash sales, today is 50% off Image comics which stacks with their SciFi sale. These last for about 12 hours from 9am to 9pm their time. IMAGEFLASH today.
Since this is an usually sale schedule it might be easy to overlook.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Cross posting from the anime deals thread:

Not anime but there's a Kodansha/Fairy Tale bundle on humble bundle right now:

https://www.humblebundle.com/books/h...kodansha-books

I basically have, from previous sales, the stuff up to the 10 dollar tier but once again the value above that is great enough that I'll probably rebuy for the new stuff (this goes to the end of the Fairy Tale manga, and includes his previous work Rave Master and his current work Edens Zero)

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

If you have Unlimited the Image sale is 60% off. I also noticed that Image now seems to be putting all their new titles first issues on Unlimited after about a month. A great way to try and maybe love a new series with no risk.

Thanks for posting this! Their e-mails go to my spam folder and I usually go straight to their sale page instead of the home page so I had missed this. I picked up some Fear Agent and Paper Girls.

Today's deal is Dynamite pulp. Unfortunately most of their titles like the John Carter universe are not on sale, but there are some stacking opportunities with the Shadow.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Today’s flash sale is Dark Horse, including stacking with the Eisner and Women in Comics sales. I’m catching up on Black Hammer 3 and some peripheral titles.

Today’s sale uses code ARCHIEFLASH for 50% off all Archie comics. There don’t appear to be any combo sale possibilities today.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Not surprised, as Archie sales tend to be line-wide but always a strict 50% off. I might pick up the Married Life sequel singles rather than waiting for the trade then another sale, though. I really liked the original series.

Glad the flash sales weren’t weekdays only.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Today’s flash sale is 50% off all from Magnetic Press. They’re a newer publisher, iirc, but they put out some great stuff. They just had a 50% off sale a week or so back unfortunately, so no stacking today.

Nope, it was just late today. Select collections from Boom, 50% off with BOOMFLASH. Some are on slight sales, so some combo opportunities in there.

Also, the standard marvel freebies seem to be cycling more often. Twice in the last week.
