There's another Dynamite Humble Bundle, "Kevin Smith & Friends." Before you let that put you off, it's mostly Phil Hester, Ande Parks and Cullen Bunn, who do good stuff:

Comixology is sending out an email with a code for 70% off Image titles released prior to this week. Not a bad deal at all.

Just got a 70% off code too; nice surprise. Doesn't expire until May 25.

I was about to bitch about the crappy sales as of late and got a nice surprise. Now if only Dark Horse would do a line wide sale I can empty out my wish list.

The 70% off Image code combines with the current Spawn sale. I was able to get collections totaling almost 200 issues for $44 and change.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Every time a sale like this comes up, I think about converting some of my physical series to digital. Not sure that makes sense with Invincible or TWD this far down the road, but maybe Lazarus. I'm already digital on Kill or Be Killed and Surgeon X so now I can catch up.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I noticed Comixology/Amazon varies in taxes depending on where you place the order...

Comixology app (Android) seems to display tax on price before discount (so with Image discount 70% more)
Comixology website seems to charge tax on price after discount.
Amazon storefront charges tax on Marvel issues, but Comixology webpage does not.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Buying Infinity Gauntlet for $2.99 resulted in Amazon sending a promotional offer for another free graphic novel. It's this offer here -

https://www.amazon.com/b/ref=amb_lin..._i=16584548011

A lot of good titles in those 100, ended up grabbing Planet Hulk.

List of titles, if this works/links properly:

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

That's odd, since the offer seems to require HC or PB on the initial purchase. I'd prefer digital anyway, though, so cool.

It seems like all Marvel trades are still 50% off on Amazon Kindle versus Comixology prices...

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Yeah, it's getting to the point where I only buy Marvel books on Amazon now. They're often cheaper than the Comixology sales, and you get the bonus of the book being in both digital libraries.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I bought two or the $2.99 books yesterday and got an email with a credit for another free Marvel book from a list of about 100 titles. There were some good options in there too, like some Epics I was sure I would never get around to reading. Instead I went with a newer Daredevil book.

EDIT: I see Funmanstan beat me to it. I swear I didn't see that before I posted.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Hulk collection sale:

https://www.comixology.com/comics-sa...d=17169&lang=1

Star Wars Legends sale:

https://www.comixology.com/comics-sa...id=9476&lang=1

E.g., the Star Wars Epics are $6.99-9.99. Amazon's usual aggressive Marvel pricing has had the Clone Wars Epic at $9.99 pretty much since its release, but it's $6.99 for this sale.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

"Game of Thrones bundle" for $1.99 through 5/28. That's in quotes because it's only four issues of GOT (currently N/A on comixology) plus 14 issues of Wheel of Time and Pathfinder. But hey, $1.99.

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

I don't quite get it... did Dynamite lose the GoT license? They adapted so little of it, unless there's a lot more that's not available digitally.

Not sure about that. The books still appear to be in print (published by Bantam with a Dynamite credit inside), but I remember the series dropping off comixology right after they had a bundle offer.

I bought some Kindle comics but haven't gotten the free offer.

Code expires at the end of the day today. I was able to find some other items already on sale and stackable.

Criminal 1-7 $2.70 each
Frank Cho Apes and Babes $2.40
Lazarus 1-4 $1.80-2.70 each
Saga 2-6 $1.80 each
Savage Dragon Archives 1 $2.40
Sex Criminals 1 $1.20
Invincible 1-22 $1.80-3.60 each
Walking Dead Compendium 1-3 $9.30-10.80 (so 144 issues for about $30, or 20 cents per issue; the TPBs are $2.10-2.70 for six issues each, or 35-45 cents per issue)

Re: Digital Comic Book Discussion and Deals (Comixology, etc)

Yeah, no free kindle book for me either, even though I bought at least one of the $2.99 deals that day.

I probably should have maximized my Image code with more books, but once I saw it worked with all the sale Spawn collections I panicked and hit buy before they changed the terms.
