Ah man, I've got to get on it and order all of these. I've always loved Bloom County.

Do it, these books are amazing and beautiful editions.

What's up with the bright white spine lettering on v5? It's a garish departure from the gold lettering of v1-4. Too bad.

My Complete Outland was delivered today and on the back cover it says Complete Opus coming soon.

I preordered Outland in Jan so,that took said months. Wonder how long before we see the last in the series?

Mine arrived yesterday. In case anyone is wondering about this, the spine matches the others (the lettering is gold and fits right in).

I have several of the older collections in our extra bathroom, and while the specific events may be outdated, the silliness of celebrities, politicians and, well, humans is still pretty relevant.

Does this strip hold up for others too?

It started before I was born but I still find humor in them. Plus the commentary can help with the more obscure references.

Looks like the premise is Opus dreamed everything after Bloom County ended.

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to have it back, but it doesn't seem that long ago that BB sent Opus off to Goodnight Moon heaven. Seemed like he was pretty definitively ending it.

I am sad that we never got Bloom County during the Clinton years, the impeachment, the "W" years, the war on terror, etc.

The new strips are being published. They can be preordered in autographed hardcover until the 6th on Facebook, coming out in August. The paperback will come out in September.

Yeah, they did one for Volume 1 and I got it last year I think. It was $40 with the signature.

That is pretty neat to own.
