Cancelled my Amazon order and went with B&N for 20% off. Not as great a deal, but I'm not complaining. These books are tremendous. For me, this volume shows Bloom County really hitting its stride, or at least these are the strips that completely consumed me during high school. Just absolutely hilarious. I would even say they helped shape my own sense of humor.

Nope. I already have a few things signed by him. Last time I wasn't expecting to see him so didn't bring Vol 1 (which is the one I'd want him to sign). But I did get a t-shirt signed and he gave him washing instructions. Really nice guy if you can catch him at a signing.

I thought about getting these, but after going to the library and reading some of the collected editions they had decided against it simply because the strip has not aged well at all. It has aged horribly.
