Jack Kirby 4th world question
I founf a bunch of these for half price today, so i bought them because I have heard great things about them. I still need the first Mister Miracle Trade, but I am curious about what order to read these in. This is what I have for now, and I'm looking for MM vol 1 online.
Mister Miracle (1971) TPB vol. 02
Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen (1954) TPB Kirby vol. 02
The New Gods (1971) TPB
Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen (1954) TPB Kirby vol. 01
Forever People (1971) TPB
Where do i start?
Thanks...
Nick

Jimmy Olsen 1st. After that, pretty much all the issues for the other mags were overlapping as they were released. That is, Forever People #1, Then New Gods #1, Mister Miracle #1, etc.
Start w/ Jimmy, then Forever People, New Gods, MM, then track down the Hunger Dogs Graphic Novel.

What ytrez said is 100% correct, but the books were also written so that you could read one of them without reading the rest.
There's a four volume set that reprints the Fourth World saga in color, in order of publication, so if you really like the saga and don't mind spending the extra money, you may want to pick those up instead.

I bought the old trades (b&w) as an impulse buy last week at a lcbs, i was waiting for a client and had time to kill, I saw them used and figured I read a little while waiting, then he was done and I didn't get to read them. I kinda wish I had waited, but if i like them and think i would read them again, i will eventually pick up the 4 HCs...
