Feel cheated by DC's Omnibus Book

Just got my DCBS shipment last Friday and the very first book I got from the package was DC's Death and Return of Superman Omnibus book. I was surprised at how light the book was and my worst fear was confirmed when opeing it..... it was printed on newsprint. My next thought was.... Holy Cow I paid $75 for this??!! (OK... I paid $37.50 at DCBS). I just felt so cheated by this crappy product especially since included in the same package was the Captain America Omnibus which was also $75. Then of course I started comparing it to other books which I paid $75 for (such as the Tellos collection). I actually had the Death of Superman TPB which was printed 12 years ago for under $20, I just thought that for $75 this book would be printed on glossy paper at the least. I hear that there is another DC Omnibus (I'm not sure if it was the Jack Kirby one) that was also the same.... exhorbitant price and printed on newsprint. So I guess this is just a word of warning for those who pre-order at DCBS and other mail-order sites to be wary of the quality of DC's Omnibuses.

There's a thread still on the first page from a couple weeks ago on the exact same topic:

I didn't see that thread since my settings were to show threads only in the past week. I'd delete this thread if I knew how to (I could swear there used to be a Delete icon).

We're not allowed to delete threads anymore (good news imo). But we can ask a mod to close this one. I'll do it now.
