Have you had a letter printed in a comic?

Thankfully it wasn't too embarassing, and I cringe whenever I see my letter on that letterpage.

I've had a letter printed in an early issue of Spawn (back when I enjoyed the title) and actually had fan art posted twice!!

Though when I was younger, I think I did send some extremely long letters -- like six pages -- in to Marvel's Transformers, which, thankfully, were never printed.

I think the last time I wrote a letter was an email to Marvel a few years ago to tell them how much I hated Mike Grell who was doing Iron Man at the time. He sucked.

I never got any letters published, but my brother and I got a piece of fan art printed in issue #17 of Pitt (Image Comics). As another aside, I also got Erik Larsen (of The Savage Dragon fame) to draw a birthday card for my friend.

I wrote a letter to G.I. Joe around issue #20. Didn't get printed, but I got a nice hand-written note on Spider-man stationary from a staffer a few weeks later. Thought that was the coolest thing ever at the time. Still have it somewhere.
Sort of OT, but my name was printed in Wizard for winning their writing contest. Contestants had to submit either a comic book script or screenplay. I submitted the first 20 pages of a screenplay based on one of the Astro City characters. Got some original art and a copy of Final Draft software that someone at the Wizard offices must have opened and installed on their PC before sending to me. Cheap bastards.
