Titans was good. I got the impression though from a line or two that the Titans Annual takes place right before it. You get that impression Jackskeleton? Guess that's late along with Wolfman's Crisis Special.

Jackskeleton 03-09-06 04:12 AM

yeah, I got that sort of impression. Lets see how the comics start to catch up. Teen titans OYL should be good but I'm starting to worry about Superboy. He hasn't shown up in any OYL previews...

Anyone in L.A. going to wizard world L.A. next week at the convention center? should be pretty good.

FantasticVSDoom 03-09-06 07:55 AM

So what other tie in books are worth reading to compliment IC? Im caught up so far in the main Crisis book, but thought I would start picking up some of the other titles to follow along. Also, will the OYL titles start coming out before they are finished with the IC series?

Yup, the OYL titles started coming out last week. There's still 2 issues of IC left.

Was Infinite Crisis #6 not solicited in the March 06 Previews (the current one with Emissary/52 on the cover)? Not showing up in my DCBS pull list either.

Great interview with Alan Moore here...

#6 was in January and #7 was in last month's (which would be the final issue).

bishop2knight 03-13-06 07:26 AM

Sorry for this, but I have to ask another DCBS question. I noticed I have a couple of canceled books on my list of purchased books (that have already gone through on my credit card). Do they refund that money? If so, how and when?

Chew 03-13-06 07:39 AM

I've had several canceled books, but I guess I never really thought about the refund. I don't think I've ever noticed a credit on my card.

Liquid Death 03-13-06 07:58 AM

Everytime I've noticed a book has disappeared off my list, I've had to email them to see a credit.

With the number of late books, I would be sending an email on a monthly basis. Funny how computer automation can know when you owe them money, but can't auto refund.

bishop2knight 03-13-06 08:56 AM

Wonderful. Looks like I'll be sending 'em another email.

Chew 03-13-06 11:43 AM

Ever since I switched to biweekly shipping at DCBS, funky things have been happening. They skipped a shipment a while back, only to send it out the next week. Now they haven't sent me anything in March at all (and that includes the 27-28 of February week).

I might have to switch back to weekly just to avoid all this.

(I still haven't gotten IC#5 and that's the cause of my concerns! :( )

Really? What happens when something gets resolicited (like Superman/Batman)... do they automatically order the book for you again, or do you order it twice and email them for a refund on the first?

I know Mailordercomics just deducts the prices of the cancelled books from your next order, though I'm not sure what would happen if you don't make a new order...

I don't think they do biweekly shipping. What they really do is ship twice a month. There's a subtle difference there when a month has more than 4 Wednesdays. Of course, that wouldn't effect the Feb. shipments.

Chew 03-13-06 12:04 PM

OK, I feel better about that. It makes sense that there wouldn't be a 03/01 shipment, but would be one this week and one the last week of March. It certainly will make this one plenty big with three weeks of comics in it!

DC Archive edition would be nice

LOL, guess I should have thought of that (or just checked my order). Thanks Chew!

darkside 03-13-06 07:25 PM

Wow, just noticed the entire 500+ issue Avengers series is being made available on DVD-ROM soon for $40. Guess Spider Man and Fantastic Four are already available. I can't wait to spend lunch breaks with my laptop reading comic history like that.

Rogue588 03-13-06 07:53 PM

wow. I have the entire X-Universe on five DVDs, wonder what the resolution on those Avengers issues is..

MBoyd 03-13-06 08:29 PM

I've never had a problem getting a credit. Check the next months shipment and it might be at the bottom.

From the few books I've had that were cancelled and resolicited from being extremely late, I only noticed they were "gone" when I compared my shipment invoice to what books I had outstanding and had to email them to receive a credit. They don't re-order the book for you, you'd have to get lucky that the month you notice the book got canceled is also the same month its resolicited.

Fincher Fan 03-14-06 06:01 AM

Still eagerly awaiting the next issue of The Walking Dead. Kirkman really needs to get his shit together.

Chew 03-14-06 06:03 AM

^ His Marvel stuff seems to come out on time, but all of his image stuff is really late. Not only Walking Dead, but Invincible too. I'm still waiting on that Battle Pope collected edition I ordered back in September!

bishop2knight 03-14-06 02:31 PM

FYI: DCBS refunded my money by subtracting the amount from my latest order that hasn't been charged yet.
