If I had to guess...[and this is ONLY a guess]...i'd say it was Cammy from the Street Fighter game..

i haven't heard from MAD in so long. i recently bought the ninth issue of battle chasers and oh how it makes me wish the series was continued???
does anybody know why he stopped the series and what he's currently working on now???

Last I heard he's not working on anything. There's a bit of an interview with him here www.comicon.com/pulse that talks about his street fighter work, but I don't think he's doing any regular series.

I'm not 100% positive, but I'm fairly sure that what you have there is one of the covers that Joe Mad did for PSM (Playstation Magazine). I'd have to go through all my old issues to be sure, but Mad did quite a number of covers for them and that looks like some of his PSM work.
If I had to guess further, I'd say that it's a cover about some Mortal Kombat game, as the blonde looks like Sonya.
