Books you will be reading in 2020
So what books are everyone else going to be reading in 2020 starting in January?
Books that I will finally be getting into are
the first Mistborn trilogy - these ill be reading the whole month in January probably anyway
Stephen King The Institute
the rest of the Star Wars X Wing novels
Star Wars Bloodline, Phasma and the novels of Force Awakens and Last Jedi
re-reading the Hyperion books. Last time I read the first Hyperion book was back in 1997 or 1998 when I was in high school
keep on reading the old 1980s horror book The Ceremonies

The Ceremonies is awesome, I re-read it every so often in high summer.
As for myself, I’ll keep chugging with the Robin Hobb Elderlings books, and the remaining Frank Herbert Dune books, as well as whatever random stuff I get at the library.

Good call on The Ceremonies. Planned on reading that myself. Other than that, the only specifics I had were to try and catch up on several recent Hard Case Crime titles. I might start another classic detective/mystery series as well -- thinking about Simenon's Maigret.

The book name is Rich Dad, Poor Dad' Robert Kiyosaki. It advocates the importance of financial literacy (financial education), financial independence and building wealth through investing in assets, real estate investing, starting and owning businesses, as well as increasing one's financial intelligence (financial IQ) to improve one's business and financial aptitude.

Our book club picks a ling title in December and skips January. We're reading Dune for our February meeting. Most of us have never read it, including me, and I'm looking forward to it.

I think I have about 20 books that I haven't managed to get to yet. Perhaps I'll start with Sleeping Beauties by Stephen King. I haven't even had the time to watch Doctor Sleep. The last movie of his that I watched was in the tall grass. Loved Patrick Wilson in it. Was a fan of him since The A-Team. Still have a printout of him somewhere in my room back home.

I'll be starting the Foundation trilogy (Isaac Asimov) that I just got for Christmas as soon as I finish The Keep (F. Paul Wilson). I'll finish the remainder of what books I have in the Adversary Cycle.....afterwards, because I've been wanting to read Foundation for a long time and I've already read Adversary several times. One of these days I need to pick up the final 2 Repairman Jack novels in the Adversary Cycle that I don't have yet: The Tomb and The Touch.
After Foundation and Adversary, who knows?

I've never read the Star Wars Thrawn trilogy. But this year I'm planning to. I'm also working on the Nevernight trilogy.

After years of this massive tome resting on my bookshelf, I finally started "Without Remorse" by Tom Clancy. I don't really enjoy the techno-thriller genre, but everyone seems to agree this was one of Clancy's best novels and its protagonist John Kelly his most memorable character.
