Picked up 3 at the library, but haven’t decided which one to read first. I’m open to suggestions if anyone has any thoughts on which to prioritize!

Re: What Are You Reading? (July 2019)
Finished:

Another Nebula winner. Greg Bear was one of my favorite sci-fi authors in the 80s but I stopped following him in the late 90s when it seemed his writing was leaning towards FBI thrillers and apparent "cash grab" projects like Halo and Foundation novels. This was pretty good, if not as good as remember his older books being (I settled for a 3/5 rating on goodreads). I imagine the heavy science will be off-putting to many (Bear has clearly done lots of research and doesn't want any of it to go to waste). And I thought the book sagged in the middle after establishing the central idea. There's much more to the story to be told by the end ... and I know there's an immediate sequel (Darwin's Children) but I'm not really in the mood for another book by Bear now.
