A lot of children's titles and novels, with a range of other stuff mixed in including classics (nice editions with extras included), cookbooks, humor and politics (a lot of that is dated). But some nice stuff in there if you have time to look. Unfortunately I don't have the time to give pointers. If you keep going past the freebies there are a lot of bargains at .99 and 1.99. If you're more interested in non-fiction I provided a separate link just for that. No idea how long these will be there.

Mike "Science Mike" McHargue's autobiography,
is $1.99 today. Great book, great story. Long story short, he grew up conservative evangelical, became an atheist, went on a spiritual retreat, found God while surfing, now he does a great podcast, http://mikemchargue.com/ask-science-mike/, where he takes reader questions on faith, science, and life and does a little research-based responding.
I highly recommend this book and podcast. If you're looking for a place to start, I was very impressed with his recent episode on incels, what it is to be a man, and rewriting the script on masculinity. I'm cross-posting it here in the ebook deals thread and at the Christian Idea Exchange thread. |
