I read two of the shorter stories and really enjoyed them Kyle. From your introduction, sounds like we enjoy a lot of the same things. Ultraman was perhaps my first love.

I linked and praised it in a couple threads at MobileRead, seems to be a pretty busy forum, hopefully you'll get a spike in 'sales'.

I'm in for it as well.

I'm so behind on books (both Kindle and hard copies), but I'll try to get to it soon.

Congrats, Ky-Fi. Hope it takes off.

I don't know much about it either but I see you are listed on Goodreads... I have noticed that some reviewers there will state that they were "given a copy of the book in exchange for a fair review". I'd be inclined to give that a try and get a few more reviews up. I'm more inclined to buy a book from a new author if they have a number of favorable reviews and are priced right. Just sayin'. :)

Oh, and I downloaded it too. Thanks.

Thanks, Easy. Yes, I am aware of the giveaway thing on Goodreads--that's on my list.

Glad you liked them, Trevor, and thanks for the plugs! It's funny with Ultraman, I just picked up the dvds a couple years ago, not having seen the show since about 1973, and they're still so fun! I know why I loved them.

(check your PM)

Congrats on the book!

I enjoyed the stories. Most of them I wished were longer. They were fun and reminded me of the tv show, Amazing Stories

Thanks a lot, Dave. That's by far the most common comment I've gotten. Writing shorter stories made the whole thing more manageable for me, but I think I've got to put the effort into some longer works in the future.

Huh, I only vaguely remember the Amazing Stories show--will have to revisit that.

My book The Adventures of Braxton Revere is free for two more days on Kindle, if anyone is interested. Basically, I tried to put everything I like about Halloween (and the CastleVania video games) and stuff it one book. Enjoy!

Cool, thanks Jeremy!

And I might as well remind people to get their Kindle First freebie for the month.

Thanks, Jeremy! I've added it to my growing unread list. Hopefully I can check it out soon or near Halloween over the next few years. :)

This seems kinda random, but cool. A major classic of science fiction on sale for a quarter.

Thanks man, I've never read this but it looks good and I can't beat buying it for a quarter.

I haven't read that one yet, either, but I have read his novel The Accidental Time Machine. I really enjoyed that one. Forever War is in my ever-expanding queue (I'm sure you all know how that is).

There are hundreds (thousands?) of Open Road Media kindle books available for free on Amazon right now. Stuff from authors like Harlan Ellison, John Shirley, Elizabeth Hand, Ray Garton, John Brunner, Rex Miller, and many others.

It's apparently a legit sale/promotion, although it seems much more like a price mistake. Hundreds of great books in there. I picked up a ton of Harlan Ellison.
