rakoten - boko. i download this e-book reader app in apknite. some of old books will be free in it. it has all the books you need too.

Thought I would post this here : Amazon is having a sale on their Kindle e-Readers. The new waterproof Paperwhite with ad support is $89.99 instead of $129.99. But what makes it a better deal is that they are doing a trade-in bonus. 25% off a Kindle with trade-in. I traded in my 2016 Paperwhite Gen 7 for $25 and with this trade-in bonus and the instant $25 credit, got that new waterproof model for $42.50 with Trade-in. That is a great deal and well worth the upgrade. Same size so the case and sleeve still fits. :up:

That's tempting, just for the waterproof piece. I can't recall if my current Gen7 Paperwhite does Audibpe or not, so that's interesting. I usually just use my phone but it would be interesting to use this long-lasting battery than my phone.

I always get a unit without special offers because the special offers on my first unit were so invasive, eating up precious screen space. Ultimately, it's less than $15 more to avoid something so annoying.

Anybody know if the keyboard is better on this new version? It's so slow to type notes compared to, say, a phone keyboard.

It's easy to tell about Audio books. They show up in my Library now, they didn't on my previous Kindle.
The ads are just on the screen with the power off and on the home page. Don't interfere with reading at all.
The new one is way sharper and much brighter. Very glad I upgraded.
