Just finished:

Now reading:

One of the best books I've read all year. I have a new appreciation for the process of writing a book.

Finished Haruki Murakami's Hard-Boiled Wonderland and the End of the World.

Finished H.P. Lovecraft's The Colour Out of Space which also contains "The Hound" and "The Outsider" stories.

Now reading Leonard Mlodinow's The Drunkard's Walk.
I went to the Hong Kong Book Fair yesterday and picked up 33 books for about $160. One of those books was a hardcover I needed for work, which ran about $20. The rest were all $1.50 to $8.
Hope they last me through the end of the year.
Probably not.

Just finished:

Quick read. Some entertaining stories about working on offshore oil rigs.
Now reading:

Really great collection of short stories. Somewhat dark, sparse writing. They all center around Knockemstiff, Ohio (yes, its a real place) so its interesting to see how bits and pieces of the stories are connected or reference each other.

Finished The Chronicles Of Narnia, just started (hardcover):

But mine has this cover art:

...obviously without the Simon & Schuster AUDIO at the top. They must've decided it wasn't selling with the original artwork so they changed it. Don't know why they chose a hand...
