I meant to get the Great Gatsby, but all the copies are checked out at the library. So far, the first three or four stories have been great.

^ What'd you think? I liked it better than Severance Package, but not as much as The Wheelman or The Blonde.

What I need to do is to write up my thoughts on everything I list in these monthly threads in the Rank 'Em As You Read 'Em 2011 thread.

To answer your questions in reverse order:

a) Yes, I will be reading Blue Mars in the very near future.
b) So far, so good! KSR keeps things interesting by moving the narrative backwards and forwards in time in the first volume and by moving through the character list; adopting one point of view and then another. I can't speak for much (any?) of the science but the take on how businesses might evolve is almost as fascinating as the social, political and ecological aspects of this near two-decade old work.
