I meant to get the Great Gatsby, but all the copies are checked out at the library. So far, the first three or four stories have been great.

It's the second trilogy I've read by Salvatore, I like his stuff!

To answer your questions in reverse order:
a) Yes, I will be reading Blue Mars in the very near future.
b) So far, so good! KSR keeps things interesting by moving the narrative backwards and forwards in time in the first volume and by moving through the character list; adopting one point of view and then another. I can't speak for much (any?) of the science but the take on how businesses might evolve is almost as fascinating as the social, political and ecological aspects of this near two-decade old work.
