Reading Animal Farm at the moment... loving it!! Just whizzed through 1984 and thought it was great so that put me onto animal farm.

I'm reading his book about Pablo Escobar and it's fantastic. With a recent current event, it gave a whole new meaning to the term "Killed in firefight"

Great book. You'll definitely enjoy it since you are enjoying Killing Pablo.

I haven't decided where I would rank The Five among Robert McCammon's other novels, but I'm a big fan of his books, and I would definitely recommend this one. The description at Amazon or Subterranean Press tells you as much as you really need to know about the story without giving too much away. If that interests you even a little bit, I'd say give it a chance.

Fitting end to the Wallander series, although parts of it are pretty depressing.

I really liked the book. I have seen the movie a few times but I enjoyed the book more. I'll probably read Election soon.

Re: What are you reading? May 2011

Started the Harry Potter series for the first time on Monday. Currently halfway through Prisoner of Azkaban.

So far the books have been very repetitive. I'm hoping they get better.

Re: What are you reading? May 2011

I'm on my first reading as well. (watching each movie after each book as well) The early books all flow about the same. It gets more complicated and darker as the story progresses.
They get longer too, the first book: 320 pages, Order of the Phoenix: 870 pages

started last night:
