I've been trying to remember the title and/or author of a book and I'm drawing a blank. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I read about the book on a horror site (I can't remember which one), as the movie rights had been purchased. I do recall the plot: A plane carrying a group of psychotic criminals who have been trained by the government to be soldiers crashes in a suburban area and the residents must defend themselves. My wife has been saying that I should try the Kindle and there's finally a book I want to read and I can't think of what it is called!

It's a fun gross-out read. The novel equivalent of an action/slasher film. (Kilborn is JA Konrath, by the way. But the rest of his stuff isn't horror.)
