Re: What are you reading? (March 2009)

I'm reading The Chronicles of Narnia. I'm about to begin The Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

After I finish The Chronicles of Narnia, I am going to start The Wicked Years series, which is about Oz. I hope the books are good because I already bought all three.

Finished it. This was just as good as the first one. I've already used some of the concepts at work.

This morning I took a look at Beautiful Evidence.

From a quick skim, it looks pretty awful. I think that Tufte has grown from an ambitious young guy to a grumpy old man. I probably won't read it.

Re: What are you reading? (March 2009)

Just finished this book. It was an decent throw away read and would be ok for a beach or a vacation. I finished the book in one day so it was at least a little engaging. Standard stuff though with a lameo ending.

Next up:

So far the series has been decent and worth a read.

Yeah, I loved Stiff and Spook - so was pumped to get this one and read it too

You can't go wrong with Dan Simmons. After reading Hyperion years ago, I was hooked.

The month's almost finished, but presently I'm plowing through "Permanent Midnight", the memoir by Jerry Stahl. It's a Hollywood insider memoir who happened to be a drug addict. (A movie came from the book, starring Ben Stiller.)
