Finished "I know This Much Is True"... fantastic book, so sad but it felt good in the end.

Just started Dark Tower Book 1.

"Speak of the Devil" - by Richard Hawke

Just finished The Godfather by Mario Puzo.

I think I liked it better than the movie and that's saying something. Also unlike with previous books that have been made into movies, I had no trouble distinguishing between the two in my mind. They both feel like separate entities, and I think that's a testament to how strongly written the book is.

I recently finished these books (my thoughts in parenthesis):

- Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts (genuinely great book, looking forward to the movie)

- The Melancholy Death of Oyster Boy: and Other Stories by Tim Burton (it was good, but very short and not something I would look at more than once)

- The Thirty-Nine Steps by John Buchan (good overall, but much different from the Hitchcock movie)

- Born of the Night: The Gothic Fantasy Artwork of Joseph Vargo by Joseph Vargo (I love it! One of my favorite artwork books)

Rant by Chuck Palahniuk. A very enjoyable book, but it was definitely not what I expected. Then again, you could say that about almost every Palahniuk book. If you're a fan then you should definitely pick this up when it comes out May 1'st.
