I thought it was great, but I dont know if I would have thought it was as great without reading william goldings comments on it in the afterword. Now my stupid question.

They kept mentioning creepers, are creepers bugs or plants?

Also has anyone seen the movies, are they any good or much different?

creepers are plants as I understand it, like vines and such.

I saw the 1960s movie a long time ago and barely remember it. There was also a version in the late 80s or so that was pretty decent I recall.
