Looking for book on history / politics etc of the World Trade Center's construction

I am looking for a book that describes the backroom deals and shenanigans that went on trying to get the wtc built.

Thanks

The text of the OP's request talks about building - as opposed, say, to re-building on the site of the old WTC - so presumably this relates to something about the nature of the original construction/design.... and maybe to the local government patronage required to stop the complex going under financially when, at first, there was difficulty getting tenants.

Edit: I didn't find anything currently available on typing the architect's name into Amazon.com's search box.

this has nothing to do with the architecture but the battle between the Rockefellers, the new york port authority, and (radio row???).

Thanks for clarifying your request.

I found some interesting background information online. Maybe searching Amazon for biographies of any of the main players - or a history of the Port Authority - would yield more fruit. I did just read that there was a PBS documentary by Ken Burns that looked at the topic.
